Just one review before this one from lynnsimpson who gave it a "2." How can you give this junk such a high score? Pathetic show, poor presenters and offers no enjoyment at all. I couldn't care less whether the contestants win or not. It beggers belief why ITV continue to trawl out shows like Ninja Warrior, Love Island, The Masked whatever and this crap. By the way, how much do these sets cost?

Just bring back total wipeout. It might've been dumb but at least it wasn't boring. Watching people fall into a swimming pool isn't very entertaining, surprise surprise.

Oh dear ITV. This is poor.
Why they keep persisting with giving people with very little presenting experience high profile jobs I don't know.
Not that Banjo and East are particularly well protected by a format that's terrible.
ITV are unfortunately a network that seem to persist with programmes that clearly aren't working, so I fully expect this to stick around for a while.

Another corker for us to switch off, what is it with producers these days, think back to Gladiators, so much fun, entertainment everyone could enjoy. Fast forward to 2021, we are given junk like Pooch Perfect, and this. Tedious and mind numbing, I didn't rate the format one bit, the egos of all concerned were pretty laughable. How on Earth could anyone enjoy this?
If you think Ninja Warrior is bad, watch this, it makes Love Island seem fit for intelligent folk.
Absolutely dismal, 1/10.

Well I didn't think Saturday nights could get worse. This game show has proven it. I would not recommend this show to anyone. It's absolutely terrible. I wouldn't even give it a one star.

My wife and I found it a reasonably entertaining show. It has a format not unlike Wipeout but done indoors and not as expansive. The degree of difficulty is high but a few manage to do surprisingly well. The presenters are more like excited spectators and they don't do funny comments but at the same time don't come across as trying too hard to be something they are not.
The only perfect way I can describe The Void is like Total Wipeout if you gave it a similar indoor budget to Ninja Warrior UK but sucked out all the fun, all the entertainment factor and all the charm and even replaced the big red balls with a series of ridiculously challenging obstacle courses that hardly anyone would be able to attempt in their life.
Fleur East and Ashley Banjo try ridiculously too hard to replicate the same chemistry as Ant and Dec or Ben Shephard and Chris Kamara.
Plus, the egos of some (but not all) of the contestants taking part are just so fingernails-scratching-on-a-chalkboard levels of obnoxious and irritating that it's actually quite hilarious.
Overall, The Void is reasonably entertaining but otherwise, just stick to watching Total Wipeout or Ninja Warrior UK, you will have a much, much better time with those.
6/10.
