The Audi R8 attracted a lot of attention during filming as it was the only one of its type in Australia at the time. Filming it was often interrupted due to over-curious bystanders wanting to get a good look at this new model.
Shot over a period of 18 days in 52 different locations.
When delays looked like the film would never get started, producer Robert Diaz hit on the unusual idea of bringing the whole schedule forward. Amazingly, all the teething problems were immediately solved and the film was able to commence production.
The opening chase scene was shot in one night on the very last night of shooting.
