This show might be what you're searching for if you want something lighthearted and charming, a romantic comedy that will make you grin, and a storyline that isn't too complicated.
Even though I'm a terrible reviewer, I felt compelled to share my thoughts about this anime. I hope this one appeals to you. There are no spoilers in this review.
I can never get tired of watching Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru, or should I say "When Will Ayumu Make His Move?" It's a straightforward high school romance anime. There should be more excitement for this show. Although the artwork is similar to that of teasing master Takagi san, Takagi san's tale is very different from this one. This is the tale of a senpai and her kohai. Ayumu, a kendo champion and star in middle school, joined a shogi club in his first year of high school, not because he was interested in the sport, but rather because he fell in love with Urushi Yaotome, the club president and only member, and made the decision to tell his senpai about his feelings after he beat her.
Ayumu is a brave, straightforward guy who works extremely hard and is very committed. Despite his best efforts, he is consistently defeated by Urushi. Urushi, on the other hand, is a shy and kind girl. She always attempts to keep her composure in front of Ayumu so she can look cool, but she always feels awkward when Ayumu flirts with her while keeping a straight face.
