Monster Manor was conceived when the show's two creators, Scott Fensterer and Michael Kinald, were talking about Scott's home resembling "some kind of monster manor like the Addam's Family". The concept of combining Scott's knowledge and connections in the horror industry, and Michael's experience in improv came together shortly thereafter to create this love letter to Monsterkids.
Monster Manor debuted on January 2nd, 2021 on Scott's birthday! His first guest was good friend James-Michael Roddy.
The entire show is shot in Scott's dining room.
