I think it's a ok movie. I enjoyed it. Two adults set out on a yacht to save the relationship of a couple and at the same time to see the "end of the world", that is, Antarctica. It tells the story of the survival adventure of a couple stranded on an island near Antarctica. I think it is a relationship movie as well as a survival movie. As the cold, hunger and weakness began, the couples revealed the secrets they kept from each other to each other's faces. In fact, they did something they normally did not do after the incident they experienced. I think Ben was a bit of an idiot. But they are both selfish, but they also love each other. The ending of the movie did not make many people on the cinema left happy. It's like a festival movie. It wasn't a blockbuster movie. I watched this movie in Azerbaijan, where I live. It's strange that French movies are being released here lately. A situation that usually does not happen in neighboring countries (except for festivals).

I registered specially to rate this movie. It's one of The best i've seen in months. It's not fair that theres no reviews and the rate is so low. Actors Are brilliant. Plot is unpredictable. Nowadays you can read any plot before watching movie and everything is so boring. But with this movie you dont know what will be next. I'm sorry. English is not my native language.
"this film follows a couple who must fight for survival after they become stranded on an island". And they doing it not in the dumb way. Silly plot often in these type of films, but not in this one. This one is realistic and interesting.

Well it is not just love that hurts ... so no pun intended. Also movies like this one remind me how lost I would be without the whole system that has been set up ... as in I don't think I am cut out for the whole hunting and outdoor thing - outside of cities.
That all said, the movie is keeping it as real as possible. Humans do their best to survive ... and mostly stick together when danger is coming up. That said, anything personal can also be quite dangerous ... because it will come to light ... as much as we have that survival instinct, we as humans also have that self destruct inside of us ... anyway.
The movie is well structured and while you may think this looks like by the numbers ... it does have a few surprises along the way (no pun intended) ... just don't freeze on it ... or in it!

Thomas Bidegain gave us the outstanding COWBOYS, back in 2015, a surprising gem, and it's strange that he did not make anything else since. So this one is really bold, ambitious, even for a so simple plot. Simple but hard to shoot, actually, and also pulled by convincing performances. Gilles Lelouche plays here a character that Jean Dujardin could also have had. At least, that's my opinion. But unfortunately it becomes rapidly boring, boring, slow, desperately long, so long, despite the simple plot. This script tries to analyse a character study, the relationship of a couple, thrown into a deep existential crisis thru this adventure, but it fails..... I prefered COWBOYS though. This one is cheesy, compared to the previous one.
