The Jooki character is taken from Frankie Piccione's previous film, Being Elhum: A Puppet's Journey (2014). The character is inspired by actor Elhum Saljooki, who plays Brom Bones in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and a fictional version of himself in Being Elhum: A Puppet's Journey (2014).
The Mark character would go on to inspire the titular character in Frankie Piccione's mini series, Mishaps with Mark (2015).
