"Into Ether" was shot completely in isolation due to the Covid-19 pandemic in Spring of 2020. As a result, Green completed all production and post production elements herself.

The film is based on the stage play, "Ether" - also written by Green and produced by White Mills Theatre Co. in Toronto in summer 2019, with Felicia Valenti doing the mysterious voice and playing the role of "Myssie," who appears later in the play.

This film marks Daniel Busch's first appearance on camera.
