Throughout the film, Teresa's son "Bryce" is mentioned--this was a nod to Bryson Baker, the 2nd AD and close friend to the writers. In fact, in original drafts, each of the character's lines discussing their children--with each of the children's names being close friends of the creators.
When all the mothers are fighting after Teresa dies, Nikki and Shelby referred to it as the "Mega-Mommy Meltdown" through-out production.
Due to the University's COVID 19 Produciton Safety rules, a restriction was placed on the max number of cast and crew members allowed on set at one time in a given space.
