Due to the show's insignificance, it was not only canceled for a second season but also removed from Paramount+ on January 30, 2023. Soon afterwards, it was removed from the Nickelodeon network on TV and on demand as well as iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and even Nickelodeon's official website. No DVDs were made of the show either. Various clips can still be found on the Nickelodeon and Paramount YouTube channels along with only the second full episode on Nickelodeon's channel listed for free.
This is the first Fairly OddParents media ever to use a laugh track.
This show has been compared to Cartoon Network's Out of Jimmy's Head, another show that also mixes live action with animated sequences, and is also infamous for its negative reception.
Unlike in the live action Fairly OddParents television movies, the animated characters are 2D instead of CGI.
