Got to see this film in Inox in the Global Cinema-India and was impressed with the presentation of the film.
This film was played after Satyajit Ray's Aguntak and it hold interest for all the audience who were present, they stayed back till the end of this film and i can hear big claps at the end of the film.
The story was interesting which displayed various aspects of family life and was very well presented on the screen. The mix of western culture and eastern value was also very interesting.Director was successful in giving a good film to the audience.
The quality of picture was very good as i can see this was the only film in the festival which was shot on Red One.
Mukesh Asopa as lead reminds me of Shahrukh Khan in Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gam.His acting was outstanding specially the scenes with his grandmother,Kiran and his father.Kamal Nandi was the perfect cast for the role he played as well. All the actors were very good.
Based on the story this movie is slow but was very interesting and I will give a rating of 9 out of 10.

This is the only feature film from Canada which got award at California and was among best feature films as one of the filmmakers i was there in the award ceremony. When it came to watch the whole film all i can say is a must watch film. Its a pure family drama very well shown on the big screen with characters from two cultural background. It is a tribute to elderly parents and answer to youth growing in western culture. The plot is inspiring with good storyline, direction, cinematography, editing and acting.DVD authored is very high quality as it played well on the big screen at home theatre and sound effect was Dolby which portrayed better quality of film available on DVD.
Very nice family drama, entertaining and inspiring towards family. The film portrays a big sacrifice but at the same time it conveys a lesson to young generation. All the actors were good and the sound tracks were unique and different. As an actor i liked the performance of Mukesh,Kamal,Aruna and Roya. The cinematography and editing looks very good. At some point the emotions are too loud but it maybe the requirement of the story. The young kids were very good as well. This film should get recognized in more festivals because of its rich quality. Goodluck to Mukesh and Team. I will give a rating of 9 to this film.
I am not a big time fan of watching movies of unknown faces, but this was by chance.I went to watch Aguntak by Satyajit Ray and stayed back to see the taste of relation. The name sounds like a romantic film but was a family drama and a mix a romance but, good part is it hold interest till the end.
Acting of all unknown faces were even better than well known faces from Bollywood now a days.More interesting was western songs with eastern performance. It clearly shows the vision of Director was very clear in making this film.
Technically the quality of film on screen looks very good and it was a good experience for me to try watching something different with more talents into it.
It was worth of watching this film. I will give a rating of 10 to this film.

I watched this film the other day on DVD and when i was there at California film awards, this film by mukesh asopa was announced as the winner of special jury prize at prestigious California film awards ceremony.I was impressed with the story, characters, acting, cinematography and editing of the film.Rap music video was very well done. The kids performed well with the theme of the film and comedy reflects the culture at the same time.It qualifies for the best family drama and message in it which is good part about the film.Few locations and scenes were well done with the use of Red Camera and it can be seen on wide screen. The DVD authoring looks cool with autoplay of the title song.Well I don't rate films 9 but this is an exception.
