The Apothecary Diaries is a whirlwind of emotions we love to sit through but some of the most unexpected characters had a connection we didn’t expect at all. Most of the characters of The Apothecary Diaries are lovable and humorous but two people in particular make everyone’s blood boil, Lakan and Fengxian. But since the narrator unquestionably takes Maomao’s side, it’s mostly her perspective. However, when these two finally had their story revealed and reunited, there wasn’t a dry eye tuning into The Apothecary Diaries.
