One day, on Sesame Street, just as Elmo is about to have a playdate with his friend, Grover, they hear Oscar The Grouch complaining about a puppy in a box close to where his trash can is. Elmo and Grover befriend the puppy, and soon help it find a forever home.
Yeah, this is a good special. As Sesame Street teaches lessons, this animated special teaches how to care for pets. However, I felt it could have done more to teach kids about how to be responsible for pets (as it only teaches the basic stuff, but not the advanced stuff like paper training and seeing a vet, although the latter could be saved for another special or episode). However. It does have some good songs (like Cookie Monster's doggie treat song), and the voice acting and story is good.
