This film was alright. But it got a bit lost halfway through and things started seeming a bit confusing. I understand what was going on it was just the way it was done. I did however enjoy the acting and still thought it was a good watch but the lead it took could've gone a lot better.
This is a story of revenge. A slow and painful revenge.
Peretti is a great actor and he is superb in his role.
I liked the way the story is told but I didn't like the ending.

I love Spanish thrillers. This amazing Argentinean film is dark and beautifully directed.
The movie is not linear , may be that is reason people did not give good rates. Because most of the people now wants to be spoon fed.
The movie goes back and forth abruptly may confuse you little but that is actually get interesting when you get in to the flow. You will be glued until the end to know was it murder or just bad luck or act of god.
I am still not sure if I am with the girl or with the writer. I wasn't happy about the ending but still I loved it. The dialogues are so well written, so even the english translation was good.
Watch it if you like a good psychological thriller.

Well paced thriller with good performance but whats the point of spending that much time watching to find the main question is still unanswered at the end. The answers are never given and the central character the writer is a really disgusting character who never acknowledges that it was his own careless behaviour which destroyed his family not the poor girl who filed a genuine lawsuit. The director never shows even one character make the point that it was never ever Luciana's fault but the writers who left a kid alone with unbalanced woman. The pace kept me watching only to have a disappointing end where the questions remain as open as ever. What a wasted effort!
The movie theme hinges on the wife reading the letter from the lawyer on him getting sued for sexual Harrasment because that provided the tragic motivation for the suicide and the murders.
The moral question to ask was? Is the sexual harassment case justified and did she give him signals. Did it have to escalate when she could of said no to the kiss or rationally just said it was a mistake and moved on. She obviously had feelings for him and religious guilt. A preacher's daughter should forgive but I can see why he did not forgive her after her being a catalyst for the suicidal death of his demented wife and tragic manslaughter of his daughter.
The ending was a surprise and it was worth watching if you enjoy trying to predict endings to psychological thrillers and you will be surprised.
