Two Ships in the Night

Two Ships... is an outstanding effort by a young, first-time director. It is a simple little spooky campfire story brought to the screen on a shoestring budget by some trained actors, young aspiring filmmakers and one rank amateur in the cast of three. There is nice atmosphere, effective use of minimal props/resourses and simple-yet-elegant cinematography, lighting and soyndtrack. This would settle in nicely among Hulu's "Huluween" short films. In fact, the piece could easily hold its own in most any showcase/festival of short horror/thriller/suspense/mystery type films. Most definitely a decent way to kill (pun intended) eleven minutes.
