THE MEDALLION is a poorly made porn programmer produced and directed by one Frank Miller. Not the graphic artist behind SIN CITY, just a 1972 hack with that now-famous name.
It's a creepy professor on campus story, with groupie coeds the recipients of his hypnotic spell, utilizing a medallion on a chain. The god Pan is invoked here, but there's precious little storyline other than getting girls to visit his house, undress and have sex.
The inevitable orgy is pretty boring, and prof's assistant Fran ultimately takes charge of "Panny", as she nicknames the medallion.
Though running over an hour in length, this junker has even less content than usual for a one-day wonder. About its only reason to exist is the presence of attractive porn vet Becky Sharpe as Fran.
Given the popularity (once upon a time) for costumer porn adaptations like NAUGHTY VICTORIANS and DIARY OF MY SECRET LIFE, it's a shame Becky never got to star in a XXX version of Thackeray's "Vanity Fair".
