This 30-minute film about a woman dealing with a miscarriage made me cry three times. The characters were so authentic, the writing was so good, and the actors were so convincing, that I was really drawn into the story. I'm impressed that a male screenwriter can create female characters that ring so true.
The first part of the film deals with the miscarriage itself. For me, this was the most powerful part of the movie. Most films gloss over the subject of miscarriage, but this film confronts it head on. Its depiction is both painful and powerful.
Miscarriage is something that is very common, but rarely talked about. I think that this film will speak to a lot of women.
