This mini-series was simply amazing. I was growing up when 9/11 happened. It was so big and so tragic, and there were so many different stories about what happened, and this show did an amazing job at putting it all together in on coherent narrative. This final episode illustrates the final hours of that terrible day and the efforts of the rescue works. It also tells the story from the film World trade center with the actual survivors, which I thought was pretty cool. But more than that, this episode really hit home the human cost of that terrible day and the fact that these were just normal people with normal everyday lives who were the victims of a tragedy. I hope this mini-series is watched and rewatched for years to come in both schools and in people's private lives. May we never what happened nor the almost 3,00 people who lost their lives.
