First off, let me preface this by saying this series doesn't do anything actively bad. Unfortunately, I can't really find anything to actively praise, either.
The series starts out in the other world immediately, while backstory is drip-fed and limited to a few flashbacks without any information beyond "protagonist was an office worker". The setup of gaining a second character class, once it comes up, is checked off in a minute or so, and feels pretty lame. Not the OP powers itself, that's a staple of Isekai anyway and I don't mind it, but they feel interchangeable / boring, for lack of a better phrasing.
The remainder of the show feels overall uninspired, and it feels to me like it lacks "heart". The OP doesn't really show any emotions or character growth, and almost seems depressed or bored to death, even while slinging spells in the middle of a heated action scene.
The other characters aren't much more interesting either, lack character depth, and their personality can generally be summarized in half a sentence, like "wise stereotypical smith" or "hospitable innkeeper", and I can't even really remember any others. The villain and his (non-protagonist) nemesis, to avoid any spoilers, are just barely more interesting.
Some episodes also feel pretty lazy. For instance, I remember episode 7 having lots of zoom shots. That would be fine if used in moderation and with voiceover, but showing a zoom-in for 10 seconds with nothing happening screams "budget cuts" / "time pressure".
In the end, I would say the series lacks "life". Things are happening and words are spoken, but nothing noteworthy. Chances are I'll have forgotten the majority of the plot in a week or two.
This show could have been better, but in its current state it just feels lackluster.

Even though this anime does not stay as true to the manga as I would have hoped, it still delivers an exciting and likable story with great characters. It is a good anime to watch when you are looking for something enticing but do not want an over complicated plot that you have to use your brain to follow. It's the type of show you sit back with some snacks and enjoy some laughs, good animation and an adventure. This may just be my opinion but I think this show deserves a second season to allow it to build on its storyline. People do not realize that it is hard to cram everything from a manga into a 12 episode season while incorporating every single little detail. Thats why great anime like this never truly get their chance to shine. Rate this anime a 10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys isekai anime or anyone who like anime in general.

So let me start with saying that i have been a fan of isekai category for more than a year now and i have watched almost all on this category and keep on watching these even the ones having the worst kind of rating... So considering everything about this anime , the art is cool the mc is not the typical someone who are either too shocked that they are overpowered or are too arrogant that they are overpowered, i like how the mc is like wow , i didn't know it was that powerful and does not get too full of himself , it's perfectly balanced between not showing off too much like that time i got reincarnated as slime and neither too less like eminence in shadow. Mc does what he has to. Overall would say it's not worth to binge watch it , cause it might be boring then but if you watch about 2 episodes everyday then this series would bloom at its full potential. Happy watching fellas.

This show is anything but bad, the animation, sure it might slack off at times. But the overall plot is great Yuji travel through towns destroying the cult guys (i honestly forgot their names), father steryl betrayal of the kid and mc fighting with the villian at the end. It's honestly satisfing for normies (includes me) and maybe others. Overall I greatly enjoyed this show, i just can't give it a 10/10 because of the fx and sfx beiing quite, ummm amature. But I'm sure you would love this show if you like slice of life. Isekai and adventure/action. Would definetly reccomend to people who like the isekai genre overall.
