Plan B attempts to explore the "what if" of decision making. What if we had the option to go back and do it differently? It's not as easy as changing one thing to create the desirable outcome. There are many variables attached. It's an interesting premise to see various versions of the past trying to manipulate the future. The problem is the series is not that engaging. While I was interested enough to see where it would lead, I didn't care about the characters and sometimes found them annoying. As a concept, I found Plan B creative but wish they'd done something more substantial with the set-up. Still the series held my partial attention at times.

What an absolutely horrible depiction of modern women. The story presents women (Evelyn) as selfish and self-absorbed and never happy. A marriage is about compromise and building a family - it is not about "what can you do for me". Sadly, society is far too much about "me".

I think that the best thing that Philip can do is go back in time and erase his relationship with Evelyn. He tries so hard, makes all sorts of compromises, tries to fix all mistakes but Evelyn does not care. How sad that this is not only on TV but is happening more and more in the real world.

The selfishness of women is further displayed in "the baby is mine" because I am the mother and do not care about the father. The father should have equal rights to his child. Thank God that I am not 20 years old in this strange new world.

This show is pretty close to being actually really good.

I wish I could recommend this, but unfortunately there are blatant issues.

First of all in the first episode relatively at the beginning (hence not really a spoiler) It seems like the brother of the protagonists girlfriend is sleeping with his sister, which is never brought up again. This to me was egregious and I wanted some form of pay off to that scene that never came.

The second issue is, that we just don't really get any satisfactory payoff scenes at all. They are always drowned in new issues for the protagonist.

The third is that the protagonist is really not very likeable even though he isn't as horrible as the other characters.

To me this could have been a dark comedy about the abyss that the human sociality can be. But it also fails at that due to the plot not allowing for things to spiral out of the ordinary too far before our protagonist pulls the halyard and sets sail to another realm of possibilities only to run another issue.

The acting is good. The overall promised time travel works relatively well even though way too unexplored.

I wanted to like this show because I like the concept of a character knowing the future in fiction and acting accordingly to his knowledge.

I'm willing to give it a 5.5/10 for what it's worth with a tendency to a 6.

An Intriguing Premise, Well Handled.

What if you could re-live portions of your life and potentially improve the outcome? Hollywood has touched on this before with films such as 'Sliding Doors' and 'Butterfly Effect', but this Canadian series featuring 'Suits' star Patrick J Adams examines the premise in a much more intimate way.

Without giving too much away, the show uses the 'Sliding Doors' device to reveal aspects of the characters that become more surprising with each episode. The 6th (and final?) episode is a revelation in more ways than one.

The writing, acting and production are all top notch.

Overall, this is a series worthy of much wider attention than what it currently appears to be receiving. If you can find it, give it a try. You will certainly be entertained.

I don't know why this show has such a low score. Well done and entertaining series. Hopefully they'll do more seasons. All episodes are interesting but that final episode was spine tingling. I'm still reeling from it as I write this review. Definitely give the series a watch if you can and I wish for people not to always be so harsh. Acting was great and so was the story. I am glad I watched. Now to meet the minimum number of characters for a review. I wish it were less. I am sad it is over and do hope they will do more seasons. They have no background on Plan B so that would be interesting to hear about.

Yikes. Where to start? First, this is maybe the dullest and most joyless time travel show in history. The main character repeatedly invokes a service that lets him travel back in time but really has zero questions about who these people are or how this is possible? Second, everything is played with a deadly seriousness that just doesn't work. Time travel shows usually involve a little humor as characters repeat scenes over again or know about things in advance to comedic effect. But not here. Instead, everything devolves into melodrama. Last, but certainly not least, all of the characters are completely insufferable. The story is written in such a way that the writers are obviously trying to present the leads as star crossed lovers we should be rooting for. But the main character isn't likable and his wife is even worse. The creators should go back in time for a do over on this whole show.

The chasm between a show like Severance and this bland mess is huge. The characters are unlikeable, the story illogical and the scifi content non-existent. I've struggled through 5 episodes of this but I've had enough. I just don't care about this guy, his annoying wife, idiot brother in law and drunken brother.

The series has apparently "received positive reviews for its diverse cast and representation of LGBTQ+ characters, as well as its exploration of important topics such as sexual health and consent". That explains it.

So if you're interested in the relationship dynamics of some really awful people and don't like scifi, give this a go.

The concept is very good even if there are some (serious) holes to be filled (like how did he pay for the service in the first place, how changing the past affect everything in the future, and so on). Apart from that, during its 6 part span, the story develops nicely, slowly but surly. The finale is well worth the wait and gives you a glimpse of what may come next.

The protagonist, Patric J. Adams, who made himself a household name with Suits, takes on a completely different character here, a much less amiable figure with a lot of dark shadows in him. That makes his Philip a more believable human being yet, obviously, less likeable. All the other actors are also fine in their roles with the female lead, Karine Vanasse, is outstanding. (Her character's brother, played by François Arnaud, and Philip's borther, acted by Joshua Close, are on spot here as well.)

The production value is up to date, the camerawork is strong and steady (no shaky home video-like BS here), the score and editing are all humble to the story.

All in all, this is a fairly good mini-series, well worth the watch.

I like the plot, its different from every other time travel thing out there. If u and i had a speed dial that could change your life what would you practically do with it. Save loved ones from getting hurt, do better to care for them win a lottery. And most importantly despite all the effort to put people don't change their nature. Its better to let them be some times then control every situation.

The acting from both the leads is just amazing as expected since they are well known. Never force anyone to do anything. I wish to see a bit more from these actors i hope the plot evolves into but more cheery.

I must admit, this show was tough to watch. Not because of the acting or premise, but because of my own past experiences.

The script and acting was so intense, I was immediately drawn in to the story and felt the experiences being played out on screen. I ended up breezing through the six available episodes and was left wanting more, but we never know in this era of streaming where shows are tossed at the first sign of adversity.

If you have a few hours to spare, watch this show and don't stop until you've finished it. You won't regret it when you've reached the end. Here's hoping the show is continued!

Often, we find ourselves dwelling on the 'what-ifs' of life, convinced that if we had done things differently, the outcome would have been better.
