Saw this movie today with wife.

Good storyline, nice cast, tolerable songs.

Jokes weren't double meaning as u would usually expect in a jaggesh movie.....

As usual jaggesh acting s good. Good comic timing sense he has got. Shed some weight also I guess. He doesn't need any introduction in kannada cinema. He still has good acting/comedy sense. Just needs good stories and team for consistent hits.

Don't compare this movie to his previous movies. Almost zero nudity and doesnt try to impress with just jokes instead has good story/direction with jokes put in-between.

Female lead has done good acting too

Director, can you please stop making cinema. Total waste of resource, money and time. Hombale has too much money to invest in such bad tastes. There is no link between cinema name and story of cinema.

This directors yuvarathna was a failure, he is misusing his contacts, to all producers please don't make cinema with him.

Great story, comedy, very very good message in this movie perfect for our situation.

After so many years i truly enjoyed every bit of the comedy, emotions, family values and whole movie. The movie'Raghavendra Store' is must watch movie and you will definitely enjoy and finally movie gives you great message at the endd.

So many scenes related to first-night after marriage, sexual acts implied indirectly, for e.g., in ambulance nurse and her husband having sex implied, shaking ambulance, and then they mention in dialogues about it.. Plenty double meaning jokes. Typical Jaggesh one .. I started watching with family including kids looking at a featured review here mentions of no Jaggesh type double meanings, which is not true. So .. had to fast forward and finally skip it.

I DON'T RECOMMEND TO WATCH IT WITH FAMILY, ESPECIALLY KIDS / TEENAGERS. Very dirty taste.

Beautifully written movie, very comical first half and emotionally engaging second half. Director Santhosh Anandram comes again with a very good social message. Very authentic backdrop setting gives the movie a fresh and mesmerizing look. The music gives a touching feel for the viewers. The screenplay was on point without any unwanted dialogues. Cinematography was outstanding and the actors have done a very good job. Lead actor Jaggesh was as usual outstanding with his comedy timing and dialogues.

Drawback of the movie is it's comical first half which masks the efforts of the social message the movie tries to convey.

Before making movies like this, please go and learn how to direct movies. All the characters are half baked,not even a single character is fleshed out. There is no story at all. The title of the movie is also misleading. Jaggesh doing same old 90's vulgar comedy, all he does in the movie is trying to consummate his marriage and this goes for too long. May be he should try doing character roles, his time as a leading man is over or else he'll become like Govinda of KFI. Wonder why they fund such movies. Total waste of time. I think these people start filming and then make the script probably. 2/10 better skip it.

Start it watch for 15 to 20 min than skip it to ending 15 min because in between all garbage poor dubbing worst direction and screenplay first flim becomes drama than comedy than adult comedy at last social drama i mean if you see the poster it will look like food drama but no it jumps between plot only good thing is representation of our culture and values i expected much from this flim because of hombale flims but it failed i mean they promoted this movie has hell i don't know for what talking about the acting typical and very bad acting by jaggesh the lead actress shwetha Shrivastava was not bad. Looks like director wanted to make an adult comedy inspired by old kashinath movies and then passed on a social message in last 5-10 minutes. Till last 10 min, this movie is adult comedy but director wanted to protray it as a social message oriented movie. Not sure how hombale agreed to produce this movie. Whole movie is about hero trying to get married and having sex. I remembered old Kashinath movies which had similiar theme but had better story and screenplay. After some point of time , sitting through full movie turns into torture. Kids will surely not enjoy the movie though it has a message related to kids at the end. Hombale needs to be careful while choosing the scripts.

Hayavadana (Jaggesh) is in his 40's and extremely desperate to get married. He is even more desperate to consummate the marriage because 40 year old virginity. He works at his father's restaurant which is also into catering. After several rejections, he finally gets married to Vyjayanthi (Shweta Srivatsav), from a traditional family. It is a late marriage and as expected, they struggle to conceive. Parallely, story of an evil politician Kumar eyeing to be a Minister also runs. What all does the couple go through after marriage and how the politician's action gets synced to the couple's lire forms rest of the story.

Director Santosh Ananddram picks a good themed story and also a lasting message. But his issue with overstuffing the screenplay continues with this film as well. The entire sub plot involving the politician simply doesn't sync with the main story. Also, the emotions involving the couple and their family is only on the surface. The conflicts that get highlighted is resolved the very next scene. These things simply downplay everything resulting in the scenes being less effective despite having the potential.

If the film focused solely about the late marriage then it would have been really special. Entire first half is dedicated to the humor around Hayavadana's failed attempt to have sex with his new wife. Somehow the humor doesn't cross the line to be crude. In the second half, relevant issues of infertility due to late marriage is raised and the film truly picks up from here, followed by the surrogacy being opposed by his father.

The film definitely deserved a better screenplay and the tonal shifts should've been taken care off. The comedy is not the hilarious kind, not the cringe kind as well and the melodrama is extensive. Proper balanced screenplay simply would've made this a special film.

Wanted to view this movie in theatre as I felt there might be something new going by the title and Hombale Production. But somehow, couldn't watch it in theatre and now after watching in Prime, I'm thanking almighty that I could save money, time and also escape the torture.

While watching this movie, I strongly felt that the director is "Vijaya Prasad" and rechecked to confirm that it is indeed Santhosh.

Anyhow all Santhosh's earlier outings were successfull only because of star power, such quality is expected. Now that Powerstar is no more and rocking star is out of his reach, the director somehow convinced hombale to produce. Pulled in Jaggesh and churned out this movie, which is neither comedy nor an adult movie.

Jaggesh, doing what he does best and Dattanna again doing what is given to him. Both great actors are getting stereotyped to such roles now a days. Easy money?

I started watching at home and after 30 minutes, I had to switch it off as it was getting increasingly irritating.

First one hour is all about the "difficulties" Jaggesh is facing to get married. Next 30 mintues is again "challenges" for "first night". Everything is forced and over the head comedy.

At the end, there is a "message" which feels like copy pasted from some other movie.

These type of "star" directors are pulling down the industry and hope production houses like Hombale learn to recognize talents so that we get another "Kantara" type movie.
