The game breaks the Fourth Wall if players stare at Eve long enough by having her stare right back at them.
The game originally was announced as "Project Eve" in 2019. It was set to release for PS4/Xbox One consoles and PC, but a September 2022 State of Play revealed the game would instead launch only on PS5 and PC.
While exploring Eidos 7, Eve can come across a pair of statues that will splash some easy cash. When you hit these statues, they'll spray out free money before making a sound and going back to normal.
After first meeting Digger in his Scrapyard in The Wasteland, you'll see that he sells upgrade modifications you can use to boost your stats, items, etc. On the Tumbler Expansion Modules he sells, you'll see a QR code. By scanning it, you'll be taken to the official web page of Shift Up: the studio that developed Stellar Blade.
Mai Kadowaki reprises her role as Emil from Nier Automata (2017) in the Stellar Blade dlc/Nier Automata crossover.
