Interesting documentary about the Viennese actor Christoph Waltz (born 1956), who was able to launch an impressive world career since winning the Silver Palm at Cannes in 2009 and the ACADEMY AWARD in 2010 for his legendary role in "Inglourious Basterds" (2009).
In addition to many film excerpts, companions such as director Robert Dornhelm (television miniseries such as ANNE FRANK and WAR AND PEACE), his German-speaking colleague Diane Kruger (Silver Palme 2017 for IN THE FADE) and his acting teacher Erni Mangold also have their say. We also learn that Christoph Waltz is quasi-related to the master director and also ACADEMY AWARD winner Michael Haneke (awarded for AMOUR in 2013) through a shared stepfather.
The world is so small in beautiful Vienna!
