Looking at the cast and crew I thought this one is going to be a descent movie. But this one is a below par movie. Just forget about everyone else , Kunchacko and Rejisha never wanted a movie like this in their career point now where they stand . This was an awful choice for both of them. But yeah overall a poor film which is not worth watching, poor script, poor direction and total nonsense movie. Feel pity about the director, what is he even thinking about the audience making such a nonsense film. One of the worst movies I watched recently. Don't waste your time folks ! I won't recommend it.
It is a film directed by Ajay Vasudev and produced by Gokulam Gopalan. The gist of the story is that when greed for money and love for the world combine with defiance of God, a person becomes a cruel animal. This is the story of a young woman who kills her own father, mother and brother and prepares to live comfortably.
The film's cameraman deserves a round of applause. I don't know why it was stuffed with unnecessary slow-motion scenes. All the beauty of Pullikanam Estate has been captured. I really liked Janakiram's last dialogue, "You who have killed your own father, mother and Koodapirappu are no longer fit to live on earth." The twist at the climax felt unnecessary.
This is a movie that shows the failure of Rajisha, the heroine of the film, even though there are many scenes for an actress to perform. In my opinion, Rajisha is not worthy to be called an actress if she is not able to bring all the emotions like happiness, anger, hatred on her face. At least expect a change in Rajisha's face when the actress realizes that she has killed her own brother. But that too was not seen. Rajisha's face always had a cruel expression.
The performances of actress Sita who played the role of Rajisha's mother, the emotions and expressions on her face were all very good. Manoj also portrayed the alcoholic father very well.
It's so boring that the villain is given unnecessary hype every time we see him on screen. Kunchacko Boban does not have enough scenes in this movie to say that he is the hero of this movie. In fact, this is a film where women had many acting possibilities. But while the heroine failed to perform in it, the heroine's mother acted well. The priest's role for the film's producer, the police search and clashes at the beginning of the film with alleged Maoist presence, is unnecessary. I don't know why there is a labor strike and police intervention in this movie.
Both the songs were average but the background music was very good. This is a perfect movie to watch once for those who claim to be fans of each actress and actor.

I believe the producer wanted to show himself in the screen, by acting as Father of a church. Move dragged a lot, and it didn't do justice to the original version made in a foreign language (which I heard - was made well). The whole screenplay was dud, and the whole movie fails to drive the audience till end. The acting of Rajisha Vijayan was good, and so was some other characters. But don't understand the requirement of Kunchacko in this file. The Director & the Cinematographer wanted to show case Kunchakko as a Super hero, by having so many slow motion scenes for him. They could have turned this in to a good movie, if the screenplay was revisited by an experienced guy (or girl).
This movie storyline is almost same as the Kannada movie 'A karala raatri'. But movie doesn't even come close to the original movie. Bad acting, unnecessary characters added and bad script writing.
The movie is dragged so much adding a lot of slow motion scenes.
Some parts of the movie feel like really unnecessary like the police character, the fight scene.
The twist at the end is pathetic, even that was changed.
Movie might have been better if they did not deviate from the original movie storyline. Those who haven't watched yet please save your time and watch the kannada version which is really good.

There is no scene in the movie that does not have a slow mo shot in the movie. All actors were bad at their roles . Bad direction. There are many mistakes and loads of rubbish in this film. Kunchako boban knows how to act but can't seem to select the right movie.. please dont watch this movie if you have love for dogs . Here are some tragic scenes in the movie which i hate.. the director really needs to improve himself. He should not take films like this. He should pick better actors and the script writer's thought process is really bad.. he made no connections with earlier shots and and the next shots... overall rating 1 out of 10....
