When it first aired in 2000, "Six Feet Under" was unknowingly part of the dawn of a golden age of television. Alongside early-aughts HBO hits like "The Wire" and "The Sopranos," the tragicomedy told the story of a family-run funeral home trying to make sense of life and death in the wake of the sudden loss of their father.
A revival has reportedly been in the works for some time, despite the fact that it would seemingly be in conflict with what is arguably the greatest series finale of a TV show ever. Still, the mere idea of a return to these loveable, complicated, and tragic characters makes us wonder what happened to the cast of "Six Feet Under?"

Jason Priestley has been a television icon since the '90s, which has resulted in a sizable net worth. The Canadian actor is of course best known for playing the morally upright Brandon Walsh in the hit teen drama Beverly Hills, 90210, but Priestley successfully transitioned from a teen idol to a multifaceted entertainer. In addition to acting, he also works behind the camera, and has directed many TV episodes. He's since returned to his roots, starring in Canadian series like Call Me Fitz, Private Eyes, and most recently CBC's Wild Cards, which was just renewed for a second season.
Born in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Jason Priestley grew up in a family deeply connected to the arts. His mother, Sharon Kirk, was an actress and acting coach, which likely sparked his early interest in performance. After attending Argyle Secondary School, Priestley pursued an acting career in Hollywood. In...

Former How I Met Your Mother star Alyson Hannigan is set for a recurring role opposite Ryan Robbins and Alex Paxton-Beesley on the second season of Wgn America’s Mennonite crime drama Pure.
Inspired by true events, the series goes deep inside a closed, secretive subculture through the eyes of Noah Funk (Robbins), a conflicted, good-hearted man trying to protect his family and preserve his faith. Noah is a newly elected Mennonite pastor, who is determined to rid his community of the scourge of drugs and its ties to a trans-border smuggling alliance with ruthless Mexican cocaine cartels. Don’t ask Jason Priestley about a “Beverly Hills, 90210” reboot. For one thing, it has already been done: The second “90210” aired on The CW from 2008 to 2013. And although Priestley returned to direct, he wasn’t interested in reviving his character and appearing on camera.
“I couldn’t figure out a reason why Brandon would still be hanging around there,” Priestley told IndieWire’s Turn It On. “He left. I couldn’t figure out why.”
Priestley has worked on plenty of TV and film since the O.G. “90210,” including series like “Tru Calling,” “Call Me Fitz” and “Haven.” But he’s also now a prolific director, working on both comedies like “Working the Engels” but also sci-fi shows like “Van Helsing” and “Dark Matter.”
Now he’s back on TV as the star of “Private Eyes,” a fun, light hearted procedural mystery drama from Canada that has made its way across the border on Ion.

Strategic Partners, a presentation of the Atlantic Film Festival, has announced the producers selected to participate as part of the inaugural project exchange with Mexico’s Los Cabos International Film Festival and Brazil’s RioContentMarket, in addition to an incredible line-up of producers and projects. As part of a two year spotlight on Latin America, one Mexican producer with a feature film in development and one Brazilian producer with a television project in development have been invited to participate at Strategic Partners 2014, September 11 - 14 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. A Canadian feature film in development will then be selected from this year’s Strategic Partners to participate at Los Cabos International Film Festival, November 11 - 14, 2014. Additionally, a Canadian television project in development looking for Brazilian co-production partners will be chosen to attend RioContentMarket, February 2015. This initiative is sponsored by the Canadian Media Production Association.
Producer and co-founder of the Mexican production company Agrupación Caramelo Cinematografica, April Shannon, has been selected to participate in this year’s Strategic Partners from Los Cabos International Film Festival. Shannon’s impressive career includes working as producer on Bernardo Arellano’s "Between Night and Day" as well as production manager on James Franco’s "The Broken Tower." Shannon recently produced Arellano’s second feature "The Beginning of Time," now in post-production, to be released in late 2014. Shannon will bring the dark thriller "Franco’s Night" to Strategic Partners with production slated for 2015 in Mexico.
Brazilian producer Marcelo Galvão has been selected from RioContentMarket’s esteemed alumni of 2014. Galvão established production company Gatacine in 2001 and has since directed six features including "Farewell," "La Rina and Bellini"and the "Devil." He has won over 50 renowned awards including Best Film at the Gramado Film Festival, Best Director at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival and Best Screenwriter at Paulína Film Festival (Brazil) among many others. Galvão will bring the highly anticipated television miniseries, The Gardener, to this year’s Strategic Partners.

The former heartthrob talks about surviving the 90s teen TV series and how he's thrown himself into directing his first full-length feature
Come with me on a journey back to the early 90s. To bleached denim and bare midriffs. To when Beverly Hills 90210 was the biggest teen show on Earth and Jason Priestley was its biggest star. His character, Brandon Walsh, was the perfect all-American high-school heartthrob: white T-shirt, big quiff and eyes to launch a raft of terrible ocean-based metaphors. When I was 11, my friend had a lifesize poster of Priestley on her wall. Now here he is: lifesize and sitting with me in a hotel bar in Glasgow, where his directorial feature debut, Cas & Dylan, is screening at the city's film festival.
Priestley is wearing a flat cap, argyle sweater and grizzly beard. "I was very much Team Dylan," I blurt, referring to the bad-boy character played by Priestley's 90210 co-star,...

Jason Priestley's children, daughter Ava and son Dashiell, already have their Halloween costumes picked out and luckily their list doesn't include Miley Cyrus.
The "Call Me Fitz" star stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Monday, where he weighed in on Miley Cyrus and explained how he would handle his 6-year-old daughter wanting to dress up like the headline-making 20-year-old.
"I'd be a little torn on that," he told Kit Hoover and Shaun Robinson when asked if he'd let Ava sport a Miley costume.

Exclusive: ABC has put in development Bagel Nation, a half-hour single-camera comedy from Warner Bros. TV and Jerry Bruckheimer’s studio-based Jerry Bruckheimer Television. Written by Sheri Elwood, creator of the popular Canadian comedy series Call Me Fitz starring Jason Priestley, the project is inspired by her real-life childhood. It is about a Lebanese father who moves his family to the city to live above the Jewish deli he bought and which the family now owns/runs (even though they aren’t Jewish). Elwood is executive producing with Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman, while KristieAnne Reed is co-executive producing. While drama continues to be Bruckheimer TV’s forte (the company has high-profile new CBS series Hostages), the company also has been focused on expanding into comedy, selling 1-2 half-hour projects every season for the past couple of years. Bagel Nation joins Jbt’s drama Home, written by Aron Eli Coleite, which...

Haven may have started out as a supernatural television series based on the Stephen King novella “The Colorado Kid,” but within the three seasons that it has aired on Syfy, it has become so much more. It introduced viewers and fans to its heroine Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) and the mystery of who Audrey really is. Each episode offered another layer to the curious case of Audrey Parker and the women who she may have been in her other lives: Sarah, Lucy and now Lexie. Teased by the mysteries and the “troubles” woven into the Haven tapestry of stories, the show captured viewers’ attention and hearts. It was a delightfully slow seduction and one which fans are delighted to be enthralled by.

Brandon Walsh -- err, Jason Priestley -- is such a sentimental guy. But when asked if a real life romance between Garth and Luke Perry - who the actor caught up with during last summer's Old Navy...

Those of us who know and love the very excellent Haven know that the town is a wee bit creepy. Previously it’s been the townspeople who have been slightly (or more than slightly) scary, but tonight we learn that even the buildings can have issues – or at least one special building can. It was creepy.” How cool is that?...

Oh Jason Priestley. For countless red-blooded American women this Canadian heartthrob was a beloved crush object for a decade's worth of Beverly Hill, 90210. Though Brandon Walsh remains his best-known role, Priestly has worked regularly in America and Canada in front of and behind the camera since then. In 2010, he served as producer, director and star for the racy Canadian sitcom Call Me Fitz, but now Priestly is prepped to make the leap to helming a narrative feature. The film, titled Cas & Dylan (Dylan!), will mark Priestley's second feature film, the first being the 1999 concert documentary about Canadian rockers The Barenaked Ladies Bare Naked in America. But between then and now he's helmed a string of TV movies, and so seems primed for this leap. Penned by Jessie Gabe, the story centers on the unlikely bond that sparks between a 20-something young woman named Dylan and Dr. Cas Pepper, an ailing...
