Together with her environmentalist group, Lucía organizes a demonstration in the streets of Mexico City. Despite the repercussions, the action ends with police intervention and she is grounded by her parents, who send her to spend the holidays at her grandmother's house in the countryside. There, where she least expects it, Lucía will live new and challenging adventures.
Lucía begins to adapt to life in the countryside. She strengthens her bond with her grandmother Bea, learning her mysterious secrets, while at the same time finding in Grillo a partner in a musical group. On her way to shop, Lucía takes a detour through the countryside and discovers the dangerous methods Jesús uses for his crops. Determined and unable to sit idly by, she will do anything to take action. This is how she meets Josefina again. As they begin to establish a close relationship of complicity, they make an agreement to enter Jesús' camp, shoot a video and denounce him to El Manto. Lucía is not aware, however, that an imposter is lurking in the city while taking advantage of the mysterious image left by Lucha.
Things start to get complicated for Lucía: first, she meets Josefina's siblings, who disappoint her with their arrogant attitudes. This causes her to distance herself from Grillo and Josefina, her new friends in the city. In addition to the breakup of the group, Jesús also has an eye on her, as he's been going through a hard time since the videos came out. And as if that weren't enough, Lucía realizes that her environmentalist group has left her aside, in an unexpected decision. But far from giving up, Lucía embarks on a new mission: to seek the help of Aureliano, Jesús' son who lives on the outskirts of the city and seems to share the same vision of a sustainable life as she does. But convincing him won't be easy.
After talking with Sofía and closing a deal, Lucía continues her adventures in the countryside. The visit to Aureliano's house, although they were not able to convince him, helped Josefina and Lucía to get to know each other and realize that what unites them is much more than what they thought. Lucía is also depressed because her strategies are not working with the people of Luz Mala. However, she follows her grandmother's advice and decides to hold a meeting and try to convince them little by little. Meanwhile, Grillo, Josefina, and Lucía rehearse the song for the presentation at the fair, which will serve to close a deal with the impostor in the city. All seems to be going well, especially the relationship between Lucía and Josefina, but a sudden visit ends up surprising everyone.
Seba's surprise visit to Luz Mala makes Lucía settle down a little with the situation in the city. But the peace won't last long: while they catch up and Lucía shows him the countryside, her tree with a sign and the places she usually goes to in town, they discover that someone erased the song they had recorded with the band. Angry and certain of who might have done it, she will soon claim what is hers. Despite the differences between Josefina and Lucía, the band plays one of the songs they composed at the city fair. The show is a success, until it is interrupted by a dangerous force majeure situation. El Manto and his actions continue to threaten Luz Mala.
Lucía urgently returns to Mexico City alongside Seba, who is seriously injured after the dangerous fire that shook up Luz Mala's peaceful town. She takes advantage of the trip not only to keep her boyfriend company during this difficult time, but also to reconnect with her dear friends from La Mecha and also Sofía, with whom she makes an appointment to deliver the promised song. Although Lucía goes with the best intentions, Sofía's actions end up revealing the impostor's true intentions. But Lucía won't sit idly by, and together with Azul and Grillo, she creates a risky plan to use Sofía's space to tell what is happening in the city.
Lucía returns to town and sees that everything that used to be a mountain (and is now burned) has been suspiciously fenced in. She must take action, but now she has company: she has Josefina's siblings and the city on her side. Together they will carry out solidarity actions, but not before dealing with El Manto, to repair the losses and make those responsible pay for the damage caused. Meanwhile, Lucía continues what she started when she arrived in Luz Mala: she keeps composing songs with Grillo and learning more about her grandmother and her mysterious secrets. An unusual love will also be on sight: she gets closer and closer to Josefina, not knowing that everything she is planning in order to save the city could have serious consequences for her and those around her.
After a conversation with Jesús, with whom she is trying to smooth things over, Lucía finds out that her family is also linked to El Manto, but when she asks her grandmother, Lucía notices that she is distraught. Meanwhile, she keeps trying to raise awareness among the population of the city, and for that reason she asks Aureliano for help one more time. However, El Manto does not wait and starts an offensive: they hire new workers from neighboring towns and put pressure on those who left, including Josefina's brothers, which raises doubts among the inhabitants of Luz Mala. They are also doing the same to Jesús, who finds himself in an impasse between listening to his bosses or helping Lucía and Aureliano's cause. No one knows what Jesús will be capable of if he makes the wrong decision.
Things get complicated again for Lucía. After finding her grandmother saddened by the loss of the wolf, she, in doubt, decides to look for her, confirming the worst news. At a funeral that summons the whole city, Lucía sings an emotional song asking for rain to the drought-stricken city, an act that Jesús tries to stop unsuccessfully. Lucía's parents come to the city after her while this brings her back to reality. Missing Sebas and unable to lead her fight in the city, Lucía starts to believe that everything is over. Besides, Sofía schedules her show at the same time as Lucía's, boycotting her call. However, just when it seems that all is lost, something magical happens and brings back the strength of Lucía and the city of Luz Mala.
Music is about to start playing everywhere. On the one hand, Lucía and her friends organize their small but intense show in the El Manto area of Luz Mala, with the whole town, including Aureliano and Lucía's parents, helping in the preparation. On the other hand, Sofía and her marketing team have everything ready for her big concert in Mexico City. Both will perform and broadcast the same song live: Streets of Fire. Each with their own style and at the same time. Everyone is waiting, and despite El Manto doing everything to boycott the show and recover their area, no one expects what Lucía and her friends from La Mecha are up to.
