I'm no sure she and her friends no enough to do this its very dangerous and I'm reminded of silly girls that are in older scarey film's I would score an extra star if they were more respectful to people who have passed on and why do we keep seeing Kesha talk into her camera I watched both episodes this could be hugely better but it's a paranormal show not a music video.

Kesha (who originally spelled her name as Ke$ha) first came to my attention when I saw her on an episode of the Nickelodeon series "Victorious" (with Victoria Justice). Although she didn't have a big part on the show, she was eye-catching. When "Conjuring Kesha" finally came to the Travel Channel (it premiered on Discover +) I thought it would be great, like some of the Travel Channel's other supernatural-based series. The concept is there (having a beautiful girl investigate haunted locations--and become really frightened) but the presentation is simply horrible. The scenes are shaky and often presented in a not-so-clear soft focus; Kesha also appears to be using a somewhat antiquated video camera (more like what video tape cameras were like) and to make things even worse, there are video-tape glitches that often pop up (like white streaks flashing across the screen or other video tape defects like large static lines running up and down the screen, as would occur if a piece of video tape was "eaten" by your VCR and this effect would occur if you tried to play it). The glitches also make you feel like there is something wrong with your TV or the cable box. Kesha does invite a celebrity friend (like Whitney Cummings) to accompany her and she does have a camera crew with her but the overall effect is anything but pleasing (although what Kesha encounters is convincing). I hope, if the program receives a second season order, they will do away with the cheesy video effects and the annoying shaky camera technique and focus on Kesha's investigations which would be a lot more enjoyable to watch without all the nonsense.

Kesha was a 'hot thing' for a while in the music industry 10 - 12 years ago; she's a charisma black hole when it comes to hosting a TV show. It takes a special kind of bad to be able to make picturesque, (allegedly) haunted locations boring. She wanders around with her 'celebrity' guests (I'd never heard of any of them), showing how 'cool' it is to cram the F word into the conversation as often as possible, whilst rambling about identity politics and mental health (subjects that I don't come to 'ghost hunting' shows - let alone Kesha - to learn about), and generally showing herself to be completely self-obsessed. I guess her fans will call this 'cool' and 'edgy'; to me it's a joke, with even less depth than Yvette Fielding's screaming antics on Most Haunted. If you want to see paranormal investigation done right and taken seriously, watch Danny Robins' Uncanny on BBC. The locations get this a 3/10.

It could be that you, like me, thought 'hey why not, she can kinda sing maybe she can kinda host a show on something she is known to be interested in'..... at least that was my theory.....
1. Faux friend celebrities - has anyone heard of these people? I've no idea, maybe in america these are well known people. The title 'celebrity' doesn't have a very high bar any more, and certainly it doesn't suggest that the celebrity has an actual talent or specific skill, and this is certainly true here. There is no celebrity besides Kesha, and there is no talent at all, anywhere.
2. Running about yelling 'what the hell is that' does not make for a scary show, a thrilling show or even a show about ghosts and so on - it just makes for a very boring and tedious waste of time. This genre of show is of course notorious for never actually showing footage of anything besides hosts and their handoffs running, screaming, yelling, running more, entering dark rooms and yelling and running.... this show follows a VERY well worn path to the same places and tells the same ahhh stories. There is NOTHING new to see here, it is THE SAME.
3. Kesha is a mediocre talent as far as her singing goes so i'm not sure why someone didn't bother to screen test her before giving her a show - she has about as much charisma here as a bowl of vomit - which is odd because that is probably the thing that she has in abundance compared to say her vocal talent - it is likely why she is a celebrity - but she appears to have decided to leave her charisma at home on filming day and instead decided to regurgitate the aforementioned well trodden path of ghost chasing nonsense.
Ive no idea who approves these shows, but whoever they are they need a performance view. This is trash, its unoriginal, badly done and worse of all it completely lacks any reason at all to go past Ep1. Sorry kesha, i feel bad for you because you know, angry lady singer who has probably had a bad life and needs a new job or a job description refresh, but this isn't your thing - perhaps you need to try another thing has been singers do that isn't acting or television and film work because lady gaga you ain't.

Firstly, all of the high score reviews are obviously fake. Even if this show were reasonable there is no way it would be scoring high.
The show is awful. The presenters are completely clueless and walk around posing all the time - which really is all this show is. Even the way they talk is like the brain dead.
The 'paranormal' stuff just doesn't exist - nothing happens even though they try to make something from all of the stupid machines they use - which are interpreted by no-name paranormal wannabes who like exposing us to their ridiculous theories.
Every time something happens (as they interpret it) they run away like silly schoolgirls.
I really don't know why networks are buying such awful shows when there are other decent ones out there.

After watching this show I felt that I needed to do what the host did after the show and have a drink like the hosts. Unfortunately I will never get back that hour of my life, however I have decided to help people and wan them about this show with this review. This show is beyond horrible beware!

Rating of 1 is being generous. Discovery Channel, come on. Do better. You could have just filmed Kesha & her guests walking through a Haunted House at Great Adventure, it would have been much better and more convincing.
I feel bad for the real witnesses, there are much better shows who have do their research would have respected those people and allowed them a much better platform with real professionals in the paranormal.
Terrible terrible show.

Kesha has always been into the supernatural. She even made a song about it called "supernatural"
Whether you like her or not. She is a big personality always willing to learn and try new things and quite entertaining at that! This may not be your norm typical ghost hunting show. But it adds a different element of drawing in different demographics to this genre of television. I love your energy and spirit Kesha.
Thank you Kesha for this wonderful season. I hope to get a season 2 of Conjuring Kesha! And never STOP being you! You're a gem and so glad this project was brought to life! Thank you discovery plus for bringing this show together!

Yes, this show isn't like a true paranormal investigation type and it has its flaws but it was still fun and entertaining to watch! It probably did help that I didn't go into this series with the mindset that I'd see mind blowing investigations and more so just seeing Kesha try to conjure up some ghosts with a bedazzled camera in hand. I will say that some episodes were definitely better than others though.
My wife and I like Kesha's music. So, we thought...maybe she's going to be cool to watch as a ghost hunter. And we also like Whitney Cummings (Kesha's guest in the first episode) so...we thought, "This should be pretty good." Well...umm...we were wrong.
This show is bad. The kind of bad where at the end of the episode you wonder how you can get back that hour of your life you just wasted watching this. How did the producers of this show convince themselves it was a winner?
We watch many paranormal shows on Discovery+ and really like most of them...but this show is annoying and kinda painful to watch. Sadly, after watching just one episode, there's nothing that will convince us to watch another episode of this show.

Anyone that doesn't like this show, doesn't understand Kesha. This show is supposed to be a fun, funny, campy, loving exploration into unknown things for fun. I love Kesha and am also a fan of this show. If you're expecting some super serious, high budget, boring thriller, don't watch this show.
The only reason why this show is on discovery is because it had Kesha and her "famous friends" the show itself is garbage, and it is far from entertaining and not believable. I like Kesha but maybe instead of trying to conjure ghosts she should work on her singing career. I don't know why they couldn't just have her on GA for an episode? I.
Absolutely the WORST attempt at a paranormal show I've ever seen. No clue what they're doing. The combination of wooden acting, lack of self-awareness and the HUGE cringe factor make this an easy one star. Added one out of pity for those involved.
First off, I NEVER EVER leave reviews on anything, but this was so bad I had to leave one. I legitimately don't even want to leave any stars. I'm a huge fan of Kesha and I LOVE paranormal shows to no end but this was awful and painful. She made a joke of the whole thing which is disgusting and disrespectful. They were inconsiderate to the non living and she didn't take it seriously. The whole thing is a joke and she doesn't know what she could be in for. She's opening herself to things that are bigger than her by disrespecting them and laughing at them. Honestly makes me sad for those on the other side. Don't waste your time watching this show. I wish I didn't!

This is so ridiculously bad. I don't want to hear someone say "yaasss girl live" to a ghost. Singers should stay where they belong, on stage with all this theatrics. Also, why are the producers telling her what to do. Either know what you're doing or don't have a show.

Yet another lowbrow "reality" show about the "supernatural"! The nifty twist here is that it is hosted and centered around yet another lowbrow pop star Ke$ha. Yeah, she dropped the dollar sign presumably to appear less juvenile and crass(?).
As usual, the only actual television I watch is when I'm stuck in a hotel room. Two weeks ago I got to watch some dumb bigfoot reality show with some goofy faux "scientists". This week its Ke$ha (sorry, I find the dollar sign to hilarious to resist) trying to "act" here. She's acting like she knows anything about the "supernatural" and "occult". My guess is she hasn't read anything on the subject except Time/Life books! Her script is weak, the subjects are stuff that have been foisted on tv viewers now for 20 years at least. The "reality tv" thing has run its course!
Now, IF Ke$ha were to actually try more formal acting in a supernatural themed tv show with a dramatic, fictional story arc revolving around the "supernatural", I might be more intrigued. Say, another X-Files or something more "serious". But this? No thanks, this is just sad.
This is akin to celebrities trying to expand their audience or increase their stock by doing something outside their comfort zone. Like Jerry Garcia making ties or something. A word of advice to any celebrity trying to branch out: Go back to school first! Taking a LOT of acting lessons! Maybe actually DO stage theater! Otherwise you come off as rich and entitled and, again, sad.

Here's the scoop: this chick who's an attention-seeking, self-proclaimed celebrity has an interest (but clearly no experience) in the paranormal field. She's more interested in showing off her big fake boobs and looking pretty for the camera than actually conducting anything that even kinda-sorta-maybe remotely resembles a paranormal investigation. Even if she allegedly makes contact with a spirit, she freaks out and leaves rather than seeking information (investigating). You can easily find more entertaining videos posted on YouTube by teenage amateurs that show more convincing evidence than you'll see on Conjuring Kesha (or at least hilarious attempts at faking it). I'd have rated this one star, but I *almost* feel bad for this chick; so she gets a bonus pity star for the day when she realizes her show was an epic flop.

I've watched the first episode and became heavily invested! Super interesting, entertaining and spooky! I enjoy the information provided from people experienced with the site and professionals in the paranormal investigation world. Very informative!
Why did she leave her friend behind in the prison??? I thought the point of this was to have her own paranormal show. She jumps ship multiple times throughout the show!!!
I'm giving her two stars for the Prada Monolith boots she wore on day 2 of Episode One.

I'm not sure what other people are watching. This show is awesome and is really spooky as hell. It's a great show and for people to hate on Kesha is a joke. Why don't you go experience something that you love to do. The e details and information is amazing and the scares. What they do on this show is mind blowing and people hate on everything because all they do is sit behind a phone and criticize. This is a documentary series. Most horror movies suck as well lol this isn't some Oscar nomination show. The production is awesome and that's what people don't appreciate. Stop thinking and looking at Kesha as a singer while you watch this. I give this 8/10. Not even ghost adventures toured the places this show did.

I realize that this review will be repetitive in some ways as others have noted the multiple failings of this show (Host is an empty vessel "has been / never was," no-name mostly unheard of "Guest Stars" that she claims are "Super Stars," repetitive bleeped expletives, week research and interviews......). But I couldn't believe that now we have "Trans Ghosts.?" Watching the first unknown work her way into that storyline was beyond moronic. My wife enjoys paranormal shows and I enjoy the interesting background/history a number of these shows lead with, but this mess is just pure garbage.
This rating would be a Zero if allowed. Watching paint dry is more entertaining. Mindless, uneducated theories, rants and thoughtless conversations plague this ridiculous series. After watching all of the episodes, I long for this time back in my life. I image if your a thirteen year old girl, and you idolize Kesha; then you actually might enjoy a show like this. Otherwise, this series follows the same exact script that every overdone paranormal show follows. No new twists, no actual research into the topics, and definitely no scientific approach of methodology to actually provide any conclusive results. But you do get Kesha in really stupid outfits that she stole from Lady Gaga's goodwill pile.
First time watching and first time I ever heard of these two inexperienced paranormal investigators. It's like Ms Beavis and Ms Butthead go ghost hunting. They bring Glam to ghost hunting with Whitney's Bootox lips. The girls need to team up with some real ghost hunters and the show might be more interesting. This more like a Babylon Bee production. Spirits must be like, "I finally mustered up enough energy to make contact and I get these two air heads." For a good laugh it's entertaining but I wouldn't watch it weekly. I'll DVR a couple episodes to watch when the Dish goes out or there's nothing on TV.
