In the scene where Ivo falls down from his chair from laughter, the actor indeed dropped down on the ground, refusing any pillows, claiming: "If there is one thing I can do good, then it's falling on the floor."
The scene where Marin Mandir and Veno Musinovic appear together was not scripted. Mandir realized that he and Musinovic do not share a single scene together, so he decided to have them act together. Their scene is entirely improvised.
Zorko Sirotic was initially reluctant to play the narrator in the film, claiming that his voice is not suitable for narration. The director thought otherwise.
In the sequence of the interview with the politician, the reporter says that there was a 9% fall of the GDP in the third quarter. This is not far from reality: in 2020, Croatia experienced a 10% fall of its GDP in the third quarter due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
At one point, Kordob says that "the next week is crucial". It is a paraphrasing of the often heard statement of the Croatian Ministry of Health, which said "The next two weeks are crucial" for a dozen times throughout the 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic.
