So, on paper this looks like is an uplifting religious family film/romantic dramedy. You think it's gonna be a heartwarming tale of a couple of dudes sittin' by the fire reading the Book of Mormon, working on a farm, etc.
It is all of those things, yet it also includes a little bit of violence. If that sounds like a bad thing to you, we unfortunately cannot be friends. The Last Page is stealthily a crime thriller, and I found the experience of watching it thoroughly enjoyable.
It's also surprisingly good-looking despite its obvious budgetary limitations, and I think you can tell the people behind it were passionate and put everything they had into it. Really, this is a nice little movie and it's easy to recommend to family and friends.
Ok I can't help myself, as a side note, see if you agree that one of the film's big emotional moments is exactly like a part in Return of the Jedi. Kinda sick.

This movie, I can relate to in many ways. Wonderfully written, shot and directed. I recommend for so many reasons! To start it shows similar struggles most people struggle with in life, not to mention the humorous lines (don't want to spoil any lines) as well as being a fellow rancher and God believing man.
If you like heart felt movies that reach out and speak to you on many different levels... I mean who wouldn't recommend a movie like this? I can't think of one person who wouldn't be glued to the screen for an well performed script. Anyways, I'm rambling on, just watch and you'll agree it's a must watch!

The Last Page is about the discovery of ones spirituality in modern day Utahn times. It's emotional, thought provoking, and heartfelt. I've shed tears both times I've watched it. It delivers what it intends and hopefully helps you draw closer to your loved ones. We never know what the future has in store. For the budget, talent and timeline it has, it's a great movie! The main actors stay true to their original character, there's no complicated story line. I can appreciate that in a fast moving world that we live in now days. Our entertainment can also include complicated-ness but the Last Page brings it all back home. A simple, humble, well written, well produced, a little bit of action, lots of humor, Sunday kinda sit back at home evening watch. I loved it!

A very original take on the usually predictable LDS family film. Contains moments of incredible depth and intensity, not normally found in films of this genre. The relationship between the two brothers beautifully portrays how no matter the relationship, we can often drift apart. But when it comes down to what truly matters.. there are bonds that just can't be broken. An Incredible performance by Tyler fox, playing a villian of the level typically seen only in high profile blockbuster movies. Taking in to consideration the captivating performances and unexpected twists and turns, I'd say it is more than well worth the watch.
Thank you for making this film. I've never seen any other film introduce the Book of Mormon in such a modern day light the way this one has. It was edifying, sad, funny, and some parts totally caught me by surprise! That's why I enjoyed it so much. From the beginning I couldn't wait to see what unraveled next. The movie went by fast and kept me engaged the entire time. I loved the characters, the twist and turns, the humor, and how it all came together at the end. Truly a blessed a movie. It puts into perspective how there are good people out there and God does deliver them. I hope there will be a part 2!
