Monique Dupree was supposed to play the role of Rokkoko in Avantgarde but couldn't because baby Kyoshi was born right before Monique's first scenes as Rokkoko were to be shot. So Manoush and Marcel Walz decided not to re-cast the role for the Rokkoko character but to dedicate the movie to Monique and her newborn baby Kyoshi instead.
