The story has compelling elements and features a cast of intriguing characters. The treatment of the narrative is realistic, making it easy to immerse oneself in the unfolding drama.
The Screenplay holds your attention, even if it progresses at a slow pace. The suspenseful plot, enhancing the mystery elements keeps the us hooked.
The dialogue, while not exceptional, serves its purpose adequately.
The direction is commendable, reflecting a solid grasp of the storyline and characters, though there is always room for slight improvement.
Trisha embodies her character with a subtlety and naturalness. She avoids any hint of overacting, instead delivering a performance that feels genuinely real. Her simple, makeup-free look is both stunning and fitting for the role, showcasing her natural beauty and acting prowess.
While she did not dub her own voice, the dubbing artist put forth a commendable effort to match Trisha's nuanced acting but it lacked the subtlety that was in Trisha's performance and there are also a few instances of imperfect lip-syncing. However, these minor discrepancies are easily overlooked.
Anand Sami delivers a chilling and intense portrayal of a serial killer, bringing a fresh and captivating presence to the screen. His performance is both innovative and convincing, making his character stand out.
Ravindra Vijay shines in his role, delivering such a convincing performance that one might believe he could be a real-life police officer. His portrayal is authentic and grounded, adding depth to the narrative.
Rakendu Mouli also delivers a solid performance, Yashna, as Chutki, is endearing and plays her role with charm, adding a lighthearted touch to the film.
Indrajit Sukumaran and the rest of the cast also deliver commendable performances, each bringing their characters to life in a believable and engaging manner.
The production values, while modest, demonstrate a commendable effort. The locations are well-chosen, the sets appropriate, and the makeup is kept natural to match the series' realistic tone.
The cinematography, although it could be improved, effectively captures the essence of the scenes.
The music complements the mood of the series beautifully, adding depth to the viewing experience.
Overall, this is the best web series to come out of South India.

Good concept but easily could have been 6 episode series. Name sake sentiment scenes didnt worked (sister sentiment, baby sentiment,etc..) Trisha acting was good in investigation scenes but action scenes looked funny. Ravindra Vijay as usual done a good job. Psycho villain character worked as expected. Other casting also good. God related philosophies were good. Decent cinematography and background score for short series. Twists were predictable, few questionable logics here and there. Could have reduced unnecessary detailings. Little bit emotional connect and reduced runtime might have increased the potential of this series. My Rating: 6.5/10.
When you see big names associated with a series, it grabs your attention. The same happened with this one for me, and I binge-watched it.
A police officer with minimal support from her department investigates a crime that opens up a serial murder case, leading to the formation of a new team to crack it. The story revolves around how this investigation includes her past and unravels various mysteries along the way.
The plot is good, and the way everything is interconnected makes it a riveting watch. However, the series' length is a major drawback as it lags at many points. This 8-episode series should have been shortened to 6 episodes for a crisper and more engaging narrative. The suspense can be guessed easily, which diminishes its impact, though the motive of the crime somewhat compensates for it.
Trisha, in the central role as a police officer, does complete justice to her character. She embodies the persona of an officer well. Indrajith Sukumaran is a performer, and he plays his part decently. Ravindra Vijay is equally good as a police officer.
There are plenty of cinematic liberties that are not expected from a series like this. Despite being sharp-minded police officers, they often miss the obvious. The BGM and credit montage are brilliant. The cinematography is good as it adds to the feel of the story.
It could have been an engaging watch, but sadly, it is lengthy, turning it into an average affair. Watch it if you love investigation series.

Series is amazing but I would say about hindi dubbing thats really really bad specially for Trisha. Trisha is around 40 year old and they dubbed series with some young girl which is not matching at all, and with this series cant look authentic and hindi user are more than any south indian users so if you guys are making content in hindi so dont do any formality do it with proper dubbing at least try and pick close to the the original artist its looking like some old youtube video dubbing not sony liv series.
I hope this wont continue in future and some south indian series will come with realstic dubbing.

Trisha steals the spotlight with a breathtaking performance, securing her place as the standout star of this phenomenal show. From start to finish, viewers are treated to an electrifying experience, thanks to a gripping storyline packed with unexpected twists and turns.
The clever direction enhances every moment, allowing the exceptional performances of the entire cast to shine. Each actor brings their A-game, adding depth and intrigue to the narrative.
What sets this series apart is its captivating mythological elements, which weave seamlessly into the plot, keeping you hooked episode after episode.
In my opinion, forget what the reviews say-just dive in and watch it if you're a fan of thrilling series. This show perfectly blends suspense, thrill, mythological intrigue, and masterful storytelling.
Overall, it's an absolute must-watch!

This series represents a significant opportunity to showcase Trisha Krishnan's full potential in a leading role. Director, Surya Manoj Vangala, effectively utilizes her Trisha's potential, creating a compelling narrative from the outset.
The supporting cast delivers exceptional performances, with Indrajith Sukumaran, Jayaprakash, and especially Anand Sami shining. Shakti Kanth Karthik's score powerfully enhances the emotional depth of the story. While Dinesh K. Babu's cinematography is visually striking and Anwar Ali's editing keeps viewers engaged, the CGI unfortunately suffers from apparent budgetary constraints.
The screenplay masterfully establishes an eerie and creepy atmosphere that maintain viewer engagement throughout the episodes. While the plot developments may be somewhat anticipated, Brinda remains an intriguing watch.

First of all this webseries made me sit through till the end.
Positives: 1) Unique story line 2) Trisha 3) All actors and actresses performed well Negatives: 1)Screenplay is routine as it is similar to many serial killer webseries. Those who have seen many serial killer films might not find it interesting 2)Villain should have been revealed at the end. Even though he was revealed after 6episodes 3)These types of formats need lot of gripping chase sequences or action set pieces. If they are there , it could have been a different level similar to ratsasan 4)More layers should have been added to Trisha's characterisation. Somehow even though she appears intelligent , her character is more like a detective rather than a dynamic police officer.

Really i am shocked after seeing Trisha ability and the story line and the connection b/w different parts.
The Connection b/w the past and present was tremendous and mainly the gods presence vs not trusting was just amazing.
Please do watch this type of series and support it.
Trisha u r Marvelous. After this series i literally mad about ur screen presence. And every character was a Diamond. And the investigation type was so different and the women... Trisha framed that every women have potential in her and every soul have the right to know about the past and get that. Wow one of the best series after AKHRI SACH in Hindi i.e acted by Tamannah mam.

Acting of Trisha as brinda good enough. But The deepth of the story writing is poor,Twists are predictable. But the story telling is fast enough. Now a days we see couple series like this,Nothing new.
Despite being well-made, the series' violent content may not be suitable for all audiences, particularly families.
The screenplay is strong in most episodes, but some scenes are too slow-paced and could have been more concise. The extended focus on the killer's backstory appears overly long and could benefit from trimming. Once the villain was revealed, the director should have made the story progress faster for a better experience, thus avoiding any sense of dragging.
The killer's motive is clearly explained, and the plot is well-woven, but the emotional impact in a few scenes, mainly in the final episode, could have been stronger. The series would have been more effective if limited to six episodes instead of eight, as the additional length makes some episodes appear drawn out.

An overall rivetting webseries . Thought it was original in tamil but realized later all are telugu actors and it is a telugu webseries ...nevertheless a murder in a strange way creates doubt among a police officer Trisha which takes down a long way in terms of wrong doings in the name of god...good thing about this story is it does not target any one religion but brings about evil in all religion ... The screenplay is built around it and the good thing I personally liked about this screenplay is the way background about this story built is fairly believable though with some loopholes especially in the way the protagonist police officer TRISHA able to identify the antagonists in few places ... But still some surprises especially in the build of anotgonism is worthy. But as we have seen such stories have very predictable cinematic ending .. These days it is trending to continue with season 2 story at the end but thankfully it is avoided which is good .. overall a good watch among current trending nonsense webseries.

Congrats to the entire team for giving such good content.
Production team - if you're working with an actress like Trisha, don't disappoint her audience by compromising on essential elements just for the sake of it. Brinda's character requires a strong commanding voice, and the Hindi dubbing voice is too soft for the role. It's unfortunate to hear such a gentle tone in a role that demands more authority, but Trisha delivered an outstanding performance, effectively handling the complex character.
Every character did a good job, with a special mention to Thakur. Overall, the quality of the series is good and engaging.

The story appeared very convincing and very much connecting to indian superstitions and extreme theism .
Each and every character what ever was required to the script. The direction was also pretty decent.
We call our India as a secular country but we are forced to follow a religion and tolerate certain religious practices/ superstitions.
The story really connected me. There are many people who suffer because of extreme theism.
The writer needs a special appreciation for writing such a convincing story. I really expect such great scripts from other directors. The series was very engaging. It's one of the best series from Telugu language.

It's an overhyped dumb series that's lame, boring & logic less!.. They take 5 episodes to discover there is a CCTV in every railway crossing!.. The core concept & the treatment is highly superficial that leaves a lot to be desired.. Trisha's character arc is also very dramatic/ cinematic & not believable.. The supporting characters are there for namesake & Trisha is the one & only & a complete investigation head as an SI who gives every single input in the series (even to the seniormost police!).. She didn't bother to make even 1 salute through out to her superiors & they are perfectly fine calling her Madam all the time!.. A typical dumb psycho investigation series..

I binged-watched "Brinda," a Telugu web series on SonyLiv yesterday . For Trisha Krishnan fans, there's little reason to miss it, but here's my review for everyone else. First of all, it's a commendable collaboration within southern cinema. A first-time Telugu director managed to bring together an ensemble cast from Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema (including a Bangalorean in a key role).
Though Trisha's physique may not seem suited for a cop in uniform, she brilliantly portrays an introverted junior sub-inspector with a traumatic past. As is typical in police procedural web series, she has a companion, played by Ravindra Vijay (who you might recognize from "Family Man-2"), and he is simply outstanding. Other notable actors include Indrajith Sukumaran (Prithviraj's brother) and Anand Sami (the serial killer, who also delivered a memorable performance as a Sri Lankan rebel in "Family Man-2"). Additional standout characters include the corrupt station in-charge who dislikes Brinda, the police commissioner who recognizes Brinda's talent and brings her into the SIT team (both from Telugu cinema), and Jayaprakash (a Tamil actor we've seen in many movies) as Brinda's father. Apart from the fine acting talent they have assembled, what is truly commendable is their handling of sensitive topics such as religious dogma, superstition, honor killings, and similar social evils. The story revolves around individuals whose lives have been destroyed by these social practices, leading them to become atheists. It's refreshing to see an atheist who doesn't suddenly start believing in God but instead thinks that religious extremism and evil practices should be fought with righteous violence. It's also a reflection of our current times, where violence in the name of religion is normalized in Indian society.

*** Brinda Webseries Review ***
Directed by Suraj Vangala starring Trisha Krishnan in the lead role.
An intriguing crime thriller...
The story surrounds Sub Inspector Brinda who faces a head breaking crime of a psychopath which leads to the way to her past.
Writer Director Suraj is able to portray the cruelty behind the superstition belief thereby having a repercussion in the society by the form of a crime.
As the episode shifts to another level the amount of curiosity rises.
Performance wise Trisha gave a neat performance. Ravindra Vijay playing as a police officer also gave a decent performance. Indrajith Sukumaran also gave a decent performance.
Overall a good watchable crime thriller.

I just completed all episodes... story is becoming interesting since first episode...it's become more gripping till 6th episode..I feel climax should be more intense and impactful... direction is simple and straightforward. You will tend to watch more episodes as series progress..main actress Trisha has delivered nice performance..not loud and accordingly to demand of story..even supportive actors and villan has done justice to thier rolls...they are really convincing..only negetive point is forced climax...I should last 2 episode were not up to mark....story is intresting and investigation part is also thrilling... overall amazing thriller series..you can enjoy with family and friends also as their are not foul language and sex scene.
Very good concept and yet direction is not meeting expectations. Very routine screenplay and missing logic in every scene.
The idea of disproving god is very good.. but output is quite disappointing.. Every scene makes me feel I could have made better shot than it is in the series.
That explains why i gave one star and to be honest i can give 7 star for this series.
Never the less, all the characters are well picked and they have done their part except for few. Again here the director is lacking creativity.
Overall, I can say the story line is excellent and the presentation is very poor.
BR, DJ.

What nonsense movie is this. More than murder mystery, emotional drama has been only shown. Crying people and unnecessary camera moves from here and there. This Trisha is super flop. What kind of expressions she gives hahahaha, she looks so weak that police inspector role is so bad for her.
Unnecessary stretching of story. The twist was good but under emotional drama , they made a message of it. I mean why can't you just show pure murder mystery.. Is it required to show so many pasts in movie? Every time there is past and insane characters. South Indian movies are loud and and irritating nonsense.

It's an average series. The screenplay is good, but the acting from the lead actress could have been improved. The lead actress is unable to convey emotion effectively, resulting in a humorous and unreality-based portrayal. Trisha is a 40-year-old woman, but a voice of a younger actress was used for Hindi dubbing. The story becomes tedious to watch due to its slow pacing and unnecessary lengthening of the plot. It's possible that this could have been reduced to a movie instead of a series. What they aimed for was an entertaining murder mystery that ended up being a snooze fest. There is a clear PR campaign to make it look like this series is amazing, but it's definitely far from it.

Brinda web had a great story. This story could have been an amazing series, but the kiddish direction, laughable screenplay, and passable acting ruined it. None of the actors did a convincing job, and I hold the director responsible for this. Not a single second did Trisha ever look like a cop with conviction. Just another wannabe murder mystery.
Every episode felt like a drag and kept thinking when it is going to end. Actors acting was cringe to the least. But Kudos to Camera person, his work was commendable and would like to see more work of his.
Unnecessarily stretched the series, it could have been finished with couple of episodes less.
Sorry two stars for just.

A plot starts from religious rituals which demands the sacrifice and slaughter of small kid which never should be teenage or adult, Brother tries to save her and succeed but results in loss of her daughter physically but get aan objective to find her all his life via her doll made of wood. Later on another small girl was forced to sacrifice for the prevention of village from an epidemic, her mother tries to save her but lost her life along with her daughter. After that the scene changes to 20 years later where a saved girl by her brother becomes a Police Officer in a city from which she was adopted.
Now the main story starts as a murder through a body found in river and lakes.
