Mumbai, Feb 17 (Ians) Dancer-actor Dharmesh Yelande wants direct a film or web series. He reveales he has started writing a script, though he won't divulge much about the project because it is not complete yet.

Before becoming a dance sensation, Dharmesh used to sell Usal pav in in Vadodara. It was in 2009 that he became popular on television after participating in the dance-based reality show, "Dance India Dance".

A year later he donned the choreographer's hat in the 2010 film, "Tees Maar Khan", and then went on to act in films such as "Abcd: Anybody Can Dance", "Abcd 2" and "Street Dancer 3D".

The films bring together the winning combination of Shaad Ali, Shankar-Eshaan-Loy and Gulzar (Bunty Aur Babli and Jhoom Barabaar Jhoom). Daawat-e-Ishq’s songs have been penned by Kausar Munir while vocalists featured on the soundtrack include Sonu Nigam (‘Abhi Mujhme Kahin’ – Agneepath), Javed Ali (‘Tera Deedar Hai’ – Jannat 2), Sunidhi Chauhan (‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ – Tees Maar Khan), Shreya Ghoshal (‘Chikni Chameli’ – Agneepath), Shalmali Kholgade (‘Pareshaan’ – Ishaqzaade) and Wajid (‘Jalwa’ – Wanted).

The title track opens the soundtrack and is an energetic qawaali/electronica by Javed Ali and Sunidhi Chauhan. Ali and Chauhan make a brilliant pair and complement the lyrical back and forth well. Munir’s expert grasp of Urdu is only surpassed by his impressive culinary innuendos. All in all, a powerful start to the soundtrack.

Mumbai, Jan 6: Actor Aarya Babbar is currently suffering from jaundice and is under constant medical supervision.

The doctors have advised him complete bed rest for one month and to avoid any stressful activity, said a statement.

His illness has caused a delay in some of his future projects. The actor will be seen in Manoj Vatsalya's "Dussehra" as well as Punjabi director Pankaj Batra's upcoming film.

Acclaimed Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan proved on Friday night that she is indeed one of the best artists in the industry today. Her UK tour ended with a concert at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall where she belted out some of her greatest songs. Organised by TLC Events and Rock On Music, Sunidhi’s incredible energy was felt by the audience and they showed their love for her by cheering as loud as they possibly could.

The concert opened with the classic ‘Aisa Jadoo’ (Khakee) and Sunidhi followed it up with hit songs like ‘Halkat Jawaani’ (Heroine) ‘Ainvayi Ainvayi’ (Band Baaja Baaraat), ‘Bin Tere’ (I Hate Luv Storys), ‘Yaaram’ (Ek Thi Dayaan), ‘Ishq Sufiyana’ (The Dirty Picture) and ‘Bhaage Re Mann,’ (Chameli). One had to be present at the concert to see how charismatic Sunidhi sounded live. Though she is undoubtedly good on recording, she sounded ten times better live on stage.

For those who have been waiting to see the Shah Rukh-Katrina jodi re-unite after Jab Tak Hai Jaan there is bad news. Reports in a section of the press that the two are coming together again in Farah Khan's Happy New Year are according to reliable sources "not true". While Katrina has signed two new films, Kabir Khan's film for producer Sajid Nadiadwala with Saif Ali Khan and Abhishek Kapoor's adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations, she has no room this year for any other film. Says a friend of Katrina, "She would have loved to do Farah's film. But we believe Farah initially wanted to sign a completely new girl for Happy New Year. She zeroed in on Katrina recently when Katrina had already said yes to other projects. Katrina and Farah are very fond of another ever since they worked together in Tees Maar Khan.

Dolly Ahluwalia who recently starred in, Vicky Donor and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, says that there are fewer roles for senior female artists nowadays.

Chennai Express is the upcoming commercial caper from Rohit Shetty, his first collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan and Red Chillies Entertainment. The film also marks Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan’s second film together, since Padukone’s debut with Khan in Om Shanti Om 6 years ago.

Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani (Student of the Year and Ra.One), Red Chillies favourites, who previously composed for Shetty’s Golmaal in 2006 return as the music directors for Chennai Express while Amitabh Bhattacharya (Lootera) has been roped in to pen the 8-track soundtrack. Vocal talents featured in the album consist of Hamsika Iyer (‘Chammak Challo’ – Ra.One), Arjit Singh (‘Raabta’ – Agent Vinod), Sunidhi Chauhan (‘Sheela Ki Jawaani’ – Tees Maar Khan), Chinmayee (‘Tere Bina’ – Guru), Anusha Mani (Don 2 – Title Track), Neeti Mohan (‘Ishq Wala Love’ – Student of the Year), and S P Balasubrimaniyam (Look him up kids!) who returns to Bollywood after approximately 15 years.

‘Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai’ has beaten off stiff competition from some of the most sizzling songs, to win the ‘hottest song from the last one hundred years of Indian cinema’ poll conducted by Sanona.com, the Bollywood Pay-Per-View movie streaming portal.

After having proved his mettle as a singer, Sonu is now all set to plunge into the world of music direction with Sunny Deol's Singh Saheb The Great, that's being directed by Anil Sharma. News is that based on Anil Sharma's idea, Sonu has now composed a song for the film. And when Sunny Deol heard the song, he immediately added the same in the film. The 'surprise element' of the song was that Sonu, who is known for his impeccable vocals, did not sing the song. Rather he recorded the song with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, whose voice he thought will suit Sunny Deol.

Bollywood started with a bang in 2013 as Twentieth Century Fox's comedy drama Matru ki Bijlee ka Mandola hit cinemas on January 11.

Bollywood poster boy Imran Khan toughened up his image to play the rugged hero in director Vishal Bhardwaj's forthcoming Matru Ki Bijlee ka Mandola, released through Twentieth Century Fox this Friday, January 11, 2013.

Bhardwaj (Omkara, Maqbool) requested Imran to completely get into the skin of his character Matru by immersing himself in the Haryana way of life. The actor spent a month with five Jhat (a North Indian caste) boys from Delhi to assimilate their language and mannerisms.

Imran had to change his body language and learn Haryanvi for the role. He had to eat with the Jhat boys, go shopping with them and only speak and respond in Haryanvi, not uttering a word of English for the whole month. Imran was mentored for the part by theatre maestro Nk Sharma, who runs the Delhi-based act 1theatre Group.
