Elvira works as a receptionist at a brothel run by the police and childhood friend, Køster. When a prostitute goes missing, Elvira begins to investigate, leading to dramatic consequences.
In through the door, out through the window. Køster has a hard time getting rid of the criminal Swedes, who demand the money Candy owes. Together with Sixten, Elvira tries to remedy the situation by looking for Candy where she lives.
Reluctantly, Elvira has been left responsible for Candy's son, Sun, and tries to balance her new roles as both childminder and detective in a world that isn't exactly child-friendly.
For the first time, Elvira gets a tangible lead when she discovers that Candy used to work for a cleaning company that is not quite as innocent as it may appear on the surface.
Køster tries desperately to keep track of his criminal dealings, but things don't quite go according to plan and makes him fear he might lose his family.
Sun has been sent to stay with Zora but Elvira realizes he may not be in as safe hands as she was promised. Meanwhile, her trust in Køster is slowly beginning to diminish.
Elvira and Køster's friendship is hanging by a thread. With the information about where Sun is being held Elvira ventures out to save him, putting Køster in a moral dilemma.
