Anurag Kashyap stated "Naseeruddin did an interview with MTV in the US saying he wanted to do a film with me. I saw the interview and jumped. I asked him for a day. He came in the morning, shot all day and left after wrapping up all his scenes," .
The Google homepage used by Ruth, displayed a Doodle marking the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street portraying Oscar the Grouch. It was on 7th November 2009.
The film was titled " Happy Ending" when it was launched.
Kalki Koechlin and Gulshan Deviah has previously worked in Shaitan(2011)which is produced by Anurag Kashyap,director of The girl in Yellow boots.
The film did not have a theatrical release in British Columbia, Canada.
