It is refreshing to watch a french comedy that finally stands out from the usual clichés, both in terms of style and plot. For the first time, contemporary lost millenials living their lives between Paris and NY are portrayed in a film clearly influenced by Woody Allen, Jacques Tati, Jerry Lewis and the slapstick style movies in general. The film offers magic, comedy, jazz and nostalgic love scenes, but one can still relate to the internal battles of the anxious main character. The original music of the film, wonderfully played live by professional musicians playing their own role in the screen, is just excellent. Some beautifully shot dances for the delight of the viewers as well. Not to be missed!
