Peep Show comic David Mitchell will host new Channel 4 entertainment show Was It Something I Said?.
The series will feature two teams battling against each other in a battle of wordplay "to deduce who said what".
Mitchell's entertainment show credits include hosting BBC Two quiz show The Bubble and acting as team captain on panel shows Best of the Worst and Would I Lie to You?.
It was also confirmed today that Mitchell would be returning to Channel 4 alongside Charlie Brooker, Lauren Laverne and Jimmy Carr for another series of 10 O'Clock Live.
Mitchell is also currently filming a new BBC sitcom with Robert Webb and Keeley Hawes.

David Mitchell has revealed that he chose to star in new show 10 O'Clock Live instead of filming another series of The Bubble. Mitchell, who will host 10 O'Clock Live with Lauren Laverne, Charlie Brooker and Jimmy Carr, told What's On TV that the two projects clashed. "Unfortunately, I basically did [10 O'Clock Live] instead, much as I really enjoyed doing The Bubble," he said. "And I did want to do it again. "But the BBC wanted it at the same time as this, so I was faced with a straight choice. I thought 10 O'Clock Live seemed higher risk, but also with higher potential excitement... if it works." David Mitchell has criticised the BBC over its decision to block its newsreaders from appearing on the star's new comedy quizshow. The series, titled The Bubble, contains real and fake news clips which celebrity contestants are asked to distinguish. The BBC decided that it will not endorse its reporters, such as Nick Robinson who featured in the pilot, to such a show - despite Fiona Bruce appearing in a fake news clip on EastEnders Live: The Aftermath last Friday. After using the news story as part of Friday's edition, the Peep Show actor said wryly: "Big round of applause for those guys.
