A huge, falling chandelier would have crushed Anushka Sharma while shooting a musical sequence of the film at MT Studios, were it not for Shahid Kapoor promptly pulling her towards him and out of harms way.
Towards the end of the film's Bangkok shoot, Shahid Kapoor, Meiyang Chang and Vir Das decided to go in for a massage. However they didn't realize that these were "naughty" massages and were seen rushing out of their private rooms soon after entering them.
The acting debut of Meiyang Chang. Chang, an Indian of Chinese ethnicity was previously a contestant in the third season of Indian Idol (2004).
While filming the sequence for the film's title song on March 22nd 2010, Shahid Kapoor reportedly refused to wear a white vest despite director Parmeet Sethi's and producer Aditya Chopra's insistence and the fact that this had been previously agreed upon. The differing parties eventually agreed to compromise on a half-sleeve white tee-shirt and filming could resume.
