Despite the obvious low budget this is an acceptable movie. It isn't an oscar winner nor is it the worst movie ever. It's just OK, the acting is good but not great. The special effects and backscreening are obvious but it's easy enough for most of us to suspend our disbelief. What bothers me the most about this movie is the annoying sidekick and the overuse of comedy. They try so hard to be funny that it just becomes almost painful to watch. I thought this was an action/adventure movie. There is no chemistry between the characters. And you don't really care about them. If you are a fan of B movies this is one to watch, not bad, not good just acceptable.
