    • Trivia
When Castle and Beckett are discussing the victim and Castle suggests that he wanted to keep the badge that he made his career on, Beckett tells him that the victim is too young to have ever had that badge. Castle asks her if she ever heard of Doogie Howser. Nathan Fillion and Neil Patrick Harris, who played the Doogie Howser when he was a teenager, starred in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008).
    • Goofs
When Beckett and Castle are investigating the murder scene, Beckett finds a set of car keys on the body and pushes the remote lock button to see whether that car is nearby, and a familiar chirp confirms that it is. However, the car they find is a old car (apparently a 1973 Plymouth Fury), and mass-market cars in that era did not have remote locks, even as an extra-cost option.
    • Quotes

[Beckett and Castle are talking to a real estate developer]

Kate Beckett: Do you have any brochures? I'm looking for a place... Mine blew up.
