Produced by a group of model makers, movie enthusiasts and film students without the backing of a major production company. For more than 12 years, the group met in their free time to build sets and models, to plan shoots and to film. During production, the story and script went though several revisions, including a total change of the last 3rd of the movie.
Several characters in the film, such as "Cpt Walker", are wearing US Naval Aviator wings. They are identified by gold color and wings fully spread from the shield and anchor in the center.
