The subject is not exactly new and the effort to transform it in a sort of lesson works not fine at whole. Sure, a lot of cliches and not the most inspired acting are basic obstacles for feel the expected emotions.

But it gives a reasonable story and it is just easy to recognize classic situations, reactions and final decision of this sort of situations.

The compensation - Mia and Gavin are just a nice couple, the reactions of younger brother are realistics, the storz is a nice reflection in mirror and the answer of the paramedic is so bitter than it sounds not exactly unrealistic. And Connor Michael Dabinett proposes a beautiful job.
