Lee rescues an abandoned one-horned ram named Aries.

As Lee prepares for a new arrival, he works with his overweight rescue dog Charles to form weight loss plan. After getting the OK from his veterinarian, he takes Charles on his first workout. Also, Sarge, a great dane coming from California, meets the pack for the first time as he discovers his new life at the Asher House.

After a pack excursion to sneak into a hotel, Lee realizes Sarge is trying to break out of his shell. The once anxious and defensive Great Dane goes for his first adventure with the pack and finds himself right at home. Bo, the aging labrador, is struggling with the realities that he's not the biggest and the strongest anymore, but still wants Lee's attention. Lee begins a long term plan to train his farm animals to walk outside their enclosures.

Copper has a history of running off into the woods whenever he can, and Lee's curiosity has boiled over. He enlists Sonia on a mission to track Copper (a 12 lb Dachsund-mix) to reveal his mysterious destination. After a couple failed attempts, Sonia and Lee discover Copper's man cave, which he has kept secret from the entire pack for months. Also, Lee attempts to give Sal, a blind 200 pound pig, a spa day.

Lee has had a history of foster fails (attempting to foster a dog but deciding to adopt him/her permanently), and is about to try again. This time, he's fostering a dog for a few days for his friend Just, who helps him around the sanctuary. Lee gets Minnie, a dog who just a month ago was abandoned in Mexico, from the shelter and immediately falls in love. Also, Lee and the team hatch a plan to find the best possible forever home for Lady the horse. And Princess surprises everyone with a new baby.
