I thought long about the rating for Pictionary and tried to be kind. This show is painful to watch and is immature thanks to Jerry O'Connell's silliness. He is just too goofy and his little dancing is embarrassing. Big deal is made about the "celebrities" (forgotten faces) and their antics are just as bad. Win Loose or Draw from the 80s was good. This show is beyond terrible; nothing but immature foolishness.
This is a shame. The format could have been presented in a much more enjoyable mature manner making it entertaining. As it stands it has no redeeming features. Time to put this one to rest.

I can't stand O'Connell in this show! He's so awkward, but not it a quirky good way at all. His small talk with celebrity guests and contestants is agonizing to witness. The absolute worst is when they cut to commercial and Jerry dances.. it is legitimately like a bad, SNL sketch. That being said, I actually like the game Pictionary. I feel like the show could be done infinitely better. The only working parts are the Pictionary fundamentals; the drawing and the guessing. This show needs a host with energy, contestants that seem to care and celebrity guests that are relevant. Those three simple things will create a Primetime hit.

Call me shocked!!
I only watched because I saw Melissa Peterman and Jaleel White sitting there!! They are always fun!
I have notice Jerry McConnell is cute, and there are plenty of cute guys out there!
Was I in for a surprise!? He is the host with the most! I never knew he had moves like that!
And he was so warm and funny! New respect for Jerry McConnell! I think he would really make Jeopardy fun again, which it hasn't been in a couple of decades! I look at old ones and Alex was actually nice and friendly to people. Eventually he got really serious! And it sucked, a lot! Now the male host is boring and the female one seems sweet and trying. Jerry is pro though!
I don't know that I will be able to watch the game show in the middle of the day. I would start watching Jeopardy again with McConnell hosting if he was free to bring his fun personality!

Pictionary is a fun interactive show that keeps me entertained through the lunch hour. I love the playing along by guessing the drawing done by the normal public. The drawings are amateur, as they should be, and the guests are eager and enjoyable.
Jerry O'Connell is great for the show! He is more silly then funny but it is a game show, not a dramatic movie. He leads the show along quickly and upbeat.
The set is comfortable and relaxing in a livingroom setting.
I love to play along and keeps me captivated until shows end.
I will continue watching. Different from the regular game shows as you feel as if you are part of the fun and not just a part of the audience. Being closer to the action draws you in. It's a more natural, down to earth production as well.
Great game show for everyone!

Prizes are worse than Lets Make a Deal, another painful show to watch. The opposing teams gets zero. And everyone has phony enthusiasm for the prizes.
Every action and word spoken falls flat. Nothing is funny.
Have no idea what the "drawing card" is for people to watch.
Jerry O'Connell, forgive the personal critique , needs professional hair care and a clothing assistant. He looks creepy and shabby.
I think it is time to pull the plug on this show.
Our local network, WUTR, offered Family Feud at 3pm for at least 2-3 yrs. Idiotic questions but done in fun, with well dressed Steve Harvey. Family Feud was moved to 4 pm and Pictionary at 3.
Took 2 looks at Pictionary.
Dismal.

First of all this show needs to be canceled... It is not fun to watch especially Jerry O'Connell dancing around like a clown... I've never seen a show give so little to anyone.. the team who loses get a copy of the pictionary game as Jerry says how cool is that!! Are you kidding me?
And the team on the final round barely get anything.. if Lucky they may get $1,000 or $2,000 or win a trip with the money if they get all 3 right.. if they don't get the trip or money they only go home with really nothing at all except a copy of the pictionary game! How uncool is that.. and it's weird how he makes some of the celebrities wearing a cool outfit walk up and down the catwalk strutting their clothing.. I hope this show gets replaced.

There are some pretty bad game shows on TV right now. GSN has some bad ones with Blank Space, NBC's current rendition of Password, and the very boring 25 Words or Less. All shows unimaginative with poor hosts and even poorer production standards.
But this? This takes the cake. Poorly produced and very poorly hosted. Prizes are absolutely worthless. D-List celebrities are frequent guests, as they have nothing else better to do than be on this show.
What I can't understand for the life of me is how this show has been renewed for a third season. I guess FOX has run out of ideas for their daytime programming and are relying on cheap shows like this to fill time.

Jerry o'connell is always a win. Iv been watching his career ever since sliders and it nice it see such a great and under rated actor getting work. The show itself is absurdly p-g like having dinner with your parents but it is definitely an innocently fun time. I'm more of a video game person myself but I could definitely see people really liking this show. I would recommend anyone to checking it out if they have not seen it and are just looking up reviews. The show also features celebrity guests which is always nice when you see a celebrity you recognize. This show gets too big thumbs up from me.

As a lover of game shows, I consider this the worst game show on TV. It is not because of host Jerry O'Connell's silly dances. Neither is it due to its low-budget approach to production and prizes.
The big problem is that O'Connell violates a basic tenet of all competition shows: he influences play. Maybe you have noticed that he often makes comments, like "this is a tough one". As contestants draw the clues, he frequently says "it's all there" or "you did a good job"-all of which can be clues to the guessers. Or if someone uses a specific color, he might indicate that it's a wise choice. These might seem like subtle or meaningless comments, but you would never hear Alex Trebek comment that a final jeopardy clue was obscure. Pat Sajak would never say that someone made a good choice in guessing a particular letter.
Frankly, I am surprised that they allow him to get away with his imprudent remarks. Avid game players are scrupulous about fairness, and the producers and broadcasters who are responsible for content must be well aware of the line that separates fair play from behaviors that can lead to major fines.

The show is obviously playing homage to the 1997 version and Win Lose or Draw from the late eighties. Both of which were ridiculous but acceptable for that time. It's more of a caricature of those shows than something new and different. What is wrong with people being goofy, silly, and immature when we were ALL being innocent and naive like that in the eighties!
This is just a feel good, nostalgic show. Meant to take you back to when times were simpler, people actually got along, and people could agree to disagree without going dark and without unforgiveness. Back when people knew what it meant to be human. I swear people on IMDB take themselves too seriously at times.
Yes everyone looks and acts like they're binging on laughing gas or antidepressants. That is the entire point.

Our family LOVES Pictionary, playing after Sunday & holiday dinners. When the kids found it on TV, they recorded it rather than watching live bcoz Jerry O'Connell disturbs them so much, they FF thru his antics. We asked specifically what disturbed them. They said watch. Our family listed so many things, we fear they won't fit. #1 is his dancing, #2 his invasive touchyfeely practice with contestants, especially when they're trying to draw, #3 his idiotic attempts at humor, #4 his leading/misleading comments like GREAT JOB,PERFECT or IT'S ALL THERE b4 a single line is drawn. Producers need to pay attention to guests' & contestants' reactions, the looks exchanged & efforts to be polite.
