Call of Pripyat is the same as the "Shadow of Chernobyl" and "Clear sky". Only with different story. This time, the player is Major Degtyarev and the story goes right after "Clear Sky". Degtyarev is exploring five STINGRAY helicopters that crashed in the giant wastelands of ruined area of Chernobyl and Pripyat. During his mission, you came across some new characters, including new amazing landscapes full of anomalies, mutants and other dangerous or unfriendly things. Also you got some cool side quests, and the main is... the main prize is Pripyat. Finally you get to explore the entire ghost town. Pripyat is amazingly done, you got chance to enter in the school, markets, pool, factories... everywhere and it's very creepy and sad, if you are really fascinated by it. Play the game and have fun, and enjoy this creepy experience. You won't regret it.
After the failure of Clear Sky, I didn't have high hopes for this game. But I'm glad I bought it, because it is honestly a really good game. It's atmospherical when it needs to be, similar to ShOC.
I thought the mission Underground the Jupiter factory was the best part of the game. I had do most of it myself though, as all my buddies died near the start.
The game is VERY stable, and I have only had it crash once or twice.
I didn't really enjoy the graphics, and found them kind of looked like they started to run out of time. I have also found that it is Extremely LAGGY when anything else other than the game is open, so its difficult to play if trying to record with FRAPS. But that might just be my edition of the game, I don't know about anyone else.
Final review: 8.5/10

I had played all three STALKER games, but this is the best one. It has same charm as "Shadow of Chernobyl", it also have unbeliveble atmosfere and real-life objects and locations, but it's simply the best. Like every other STALKER game, you will spend days and maybe months playing it till the end, but when you finish it...you will want to start all over again. It's literally addictive, you will want to get back to The Zone and inspect it's miracles in role of Major Alexander Degtyarev.

I've played through Shadow os Chernobyl and Clear Sky multiple times, and they were great... but only with weapon mods, since the default is always a joke, you can't hit anything further 50 meters with an ak47, while skilled men can accurately shoot with it to 300 meters irl. But for call of pripjaty there isn't any weapon mod that not causing CTD(actually i didn't found any mod that not causes CTD while i played SOC with the great Oblivion Lost mod) so the firearms are crap, it would be better to use swords and things like this for such close combat. Also the optimization is very bad, the game looks badly on high graphics but still runs badly. I regret that i spent even 7 eur on it, it not worth a single cent
