This is clearly a bad attempt to COPY Squid game. But it falls soooo short.

The writing does not rise to the occasion of this type of film. There is no feeling in the writing. It seems repetitive and dry. The characters seem are one dimensional. And the dialogue seems so forced.

It was so unnecessary to show so many people get an invitation. There are so many scene that don't really move the plot forward.

The chess play is not shot in an interesting way and get really boring, so quick.

The twist is not original. It is so over played. It is a let down to the genre and the direction leave a lot to be desired.

As someone who doesn't usually gravitate towards chess movies, "BULLET" truly surprised me. Chess enthusiasts and thriller fans will undoubtedly find themselves hooked by its unique premise. The unexpected ending left me reeling, and I'm still pondering the implications!

The beginning took a little while to get going, but once it hits its stride, "BULLET" grabs your attention and doesn't let go. The story unfolds smoothly, drawing you into its compelling narrative. It's impressive how much they achieve with limited resources and locations.

Once in a while a film comes along that happily surprises me. This was that film. Who would have thought that something as routine as a chess tournament could propel a narrative in such a seductive and mysterious way.

All the characters were spot on. Human nature is always predictable, no matter where you come from and as each character makes their moves, you could see their wheels turning as they plotted their escape. All except one that is, the mystery man in the mask and glasses. No one could read his mind and it wasn't until the end do we understand just how big his diversion is from the truth. I say "Bravo!" You got me.

My girlfriend recommended "BULLET," and as a fan of both thrillers and chess, I was immediately intrigued. I have to agree with many other reviewers that the movie starts a bit slow. However, once it gets going, the pacing and rhythm are excellent, and I found myself completely hooked.

The acting across the board is superb. The lead actor, Dan (I believe that was his name), delivers a truly captivating performance. He carries the film with his intensity and believable portrayal of a chess player under immense pressure.

The director deserves major kudos for crafting such a tense and engaging thriller. The way the chess matches are interwoven with the suspenseful plot is masterful. "BULLET" kept me guessing until the very end, and the final twist was a genuine surprise.

If you're looking for a unique thriller with a clever premise and strong performances, I highly recommend giving "BULLET" a watch. You won't be disappointed!

The opening sequence was much longer than it needed to be but, overall, once the story gets going, the premise unfolds nicely. Not bad for a low budget film with limited locations.

The key cast delivered with solid, intense performances. The pacing of Act II and III was adequate. The direction and cinematography were impressive, given the straightforward storyline.

Just the idea of playing chess under unfavorable conditions is enough to give this film a watch. It may not be for everyone but I'd give this niche thriller kudos for it's effort and execution.
