Filming was completed in 2007 but shortly after financing fell through and the project was canceled until March 2010 when post-production re-started and some additional filming took place.
The studio scenes are actually shot in Dave McKean's studio. There is close up in the foreground of a Hop Press showing that the room is a former Hop House and round. There are a good many props from 'MirrorMask' scattered throughout the studio.
