2009 was the last year Playboy released a video calendar. A pull away from home video and a shift to the internet to get with the times. This final edition is YMMV much like any other based on the Playmates and your tastes. It's not a wall to wall classic, but there's choice moments which are worth checking out this title for all by themselves.
"January" is Tyran Richard - Mar 2007 - getting into a bathtub then a brief interview & her pictorial is shown. Then she slips out of lingerie on a lounger indoors (5.5 mins). This is the format all the ladies will follow. "February" is Michelle McLaughlin - Feb 2008 - a lively blonde who gets naked on a bright stage with a crystal chandelier. Then she's in & out of a university jacket, naked on a bed (6 mins). "March" is Sasckya Porto - Dec 2007 - starting off in winter time Christmas scene on a stage with a snowman. Then the tanned beauty strips in a fancy living room in front of a fireplace for a gentlemen in a chair watching (6.5 mins).
"April" is blonde Spencer Scott - Oct 2007 - on a black stage with water falling. Then it's a romp on the beach getting out of a bikini (6 mins). "May" is AJ Alexander - May 2008 - stripping from a racecar uniform before it's time to get out of a see-thru bodysuit / lingerie inside (4.5 mins). "June" is Juliette Frette - Jun 2008 - a blonde feminist who gets naked in a backyard complete with flowers and a fountain. Then inside a mansion in various states of undress (5.5 mins).
"July" is Laura Croft - Jul 2008 - a pretty natural brunette in a bikini who soaps down a sportscar & herself. Then a slow ditching of clothes at a beach house (6 mins). "August" is Sandra Nilsson - Jan 2008 - as she gets naked in the desert. Then sipping on a coke, naked at a diner (6 mins). This is where the video picks up. "September" is Patrice Hollis - Sept 2007 - who disrobes outside a nice house. This lovely busty black lady has the right curves, completely shaven. I wish her butt had been featured more often. Then a standard strip from lingerie on a bed. Her first segment the stronger of the two (6 mins).
"October" is Ida Ljungqvist - Mar 2008, PMOTY 2009 - and this petite mixed race beauty has all the right curves too. In & outside a house highlights her busty figure then it's a high energy number inside with an appropriate music track with female vocals. She has a great look (6.5 mins). "November" is Lindsay Wagner - Nov 2007 - and the highlight of this year's video calendar. Her first segment has an appearance by UFC legend Frank Shamrock as a fighting concept continues with Lindsay hitting the bag or shadow boxing in the ring. Then it's Lindsay in states of undress - dress, boxing robe, athletic wear, black panties only - as she continues working out / posing accompanied by fine editing and a rap track that really fits the mood. Unfortunately the follow-up naked on a couch can't compare (6.5 mins). This leaves "December" Jayde Nicole - PMotY 2008 - to wrap up the title on a set getting naked in a patch of grass or on a park bench. Then it's a quick but stylish house strip for a closer delivering minimal nudity (5.5 mins).
The trio of Playmates - Hollis, Ljungqvist & Wagner - back to back was this video's high point. That boxing segment with Lindsay has to be one the finest Playmate profile segments ever made. 2009 isn't a bad year by any stretch and it marks the end of Playboy's high production value vintage years. Give this title a go and judge for yourself.
