I hadn't seen a Pete davidson movie is a while and am glad I caught this one on the big screen. In The home Pete davidson is a foster child whose rough upbringing and bad "choices" land him in community service at a retirement home of sinister activity. The film covers some tough topics such as experimental drugs, mind control, media distraction, "vampiric" energy draining, and governmental projects. I'm happy to see Pete and the writers remind people or introduce those unknowing of the issues within our media, institutions, homes, and day to day life in which some sinister minds drain the unknowledged of energy and lead them down paths not ideally holy. I feel the movie was rough around the edges with a creative story making for a "expect the unexpected" ending. I could read where the movie was going but never could have guessed exactly what went down. Is a good watch while it's out and won't be out long only to disappear in between platforms leaving only those willing to buy it able to see.
My goodness my fellow reviewers that are so poorly rating this.
Pete Davidson was great as a nonchalant 20 something. The home was beautiful. The mystery unique. What is there to not enjoy about this film. I thank God , it's something different from all the generic horror/thriller's out now a days. I never saw the story coming to the end which is brutal and gory for those who enjoy that .
My only complaint is as much as I love Pete Davidson he seemed to old to play the role. I really enjoyed this off the wall thriller/horror.

The Home delivers a surprisingly gripping story with a plot twist that keeps you hooked until the end. The tension feels real, almost as if you're experiencing the events yourself. Pete Davidson stands out with a strong performance, and the entire cast brings the story to life with believable acting and great chemistry.
This movie keeps you engaged from start to finish and is definitely worth the watch. If you enjoy thrillers with unexpected turns and a sense of realism, The Home delivers on all fronts without overcomplicating the plot. Highly recommended.

First I think this is one of Pete Davidsons better performances. He portrays a young man upset with the world and torn up from the loss of his older brother.
The first half of the movie is slow but sets a decent atmosphere. Making you question if anything is really wrong or if old folks homes are just that creepy. Just as the movie was starting to lose me the second half kicks in and starts answering questions and hooking you.
Then that finale just goes bonkers. Great finish was worth the watch.
WARNING lots of eye stuff.

I've never been a huge fan of Pete Davidson but I don't necessarily dislike him either - I just don't get it. To see him in a horror flick, though, had me intrigued. Overall, I didn't really find this "scary" but I liked it. I think what sums it up best for me, though, the ending is exactly what I expected from Pete Davidson (without going in with any such expectations). When it happened, I was just like, "oh, of course!"
