Evil Cuckold

I've been a fan of Sean Michaels for over two decades, and think he remains relatively unsung among the top Black superstars of latter-day porn. With EVIL CUCKOLD he cashes in successfully on the rarely commented upon "insult the male buyer" strain of porn.

Jake Steed was an innovator in this sub-genre in the late 1990s, with his popular series of LITTLE WHITE CHICKS BIG BLACK MONSTER DICKS videos. Besides the interracial content, he would put insults in the end credits of some, making fun of any slob who bought a copy and particularly taking a mock "get Whitey" stance.

Similarly, in more recent times there have been numerous tongue-in-cheek baiting videos, often signaled by their titles, in which the lonely white male viewer is taken to task for a prurient interest in seeing well-hung Black performers deflower white women. Obviously this whole issue dates back to ante bellum days, but it's now a cottage industry.

Sean takes off on the theme by directing vignettes, always starring himself, in which a lame white husband is cuckolded, for the viewer's delight. Taking it one step further, the white hubbies here are voyeurs, vicariously enjoying their wife's pleasure with Sean, and even joining in on occasion for a threesome.

It is in the latter phase that Sean makes EVIL CUCKOLD somewhat kinky and diverting, if hardly earth-shaking. One segment has the young husband joining in, only to be the recipient of Sean's cum shot in his face, as directed by his wife. I don't watch many of the Bi-Bi videos in which straight and homosexual sex is merged, but this was over the line in my experience of watching straight porn.

Elsewhere it is the women who make EVIL CUCKOLD an impressive video, the supporting male cast just there for humiliation purposes. Janet Mason was a revelation to me -although her breasts are way too fake looking (especially at certain unflattering angles), her lengthy segment of playing footsie with Sean's member was an immense turn-on.

Voluptuous Sienna West is a close second in the performance ranks, and it is notable that all four, including Krissy Lynn and reliable Ava Devine, do a fine job -no loser in the bunch. That's important because, with story lines included, each sex scene averages 40 minutes in length.

A half-hour "behind the scenes" bonus on the DVD consists strictly of clothed interviews with all 4 actresses, which I found revealing and a lot better than the usual stray "on the set" footage approach.

I just caught up with the sequel, already released by Sean through John Stagliano's Evil Angel label, which differs in casting less busty women but includes all-time legend Nina Hartley. Photographed at age 51, Nina is underwhelming to say the least, and quite disappointing given my fond memories of her scorching up the screen in her prime.
