The scene in which Kelsey finds the gun was re-shot. In the original version she sees the gun, picks it up, emerges from behind a bush pointing it at the others, and mouths "Hands up." This was deemed to be too confrontational, indeed, the fact that she touched the gun at all caused alarm, and there was discussion that she shouldn't go near it.
Zan-Em-Mor-Kel the name of the Childrens Secret Club was abbreviated from the first letters of each of their names Zane, Emma, Morgan, Kelsey.
