Although some people claim that the film is a legitimate documentary, it is not. The entire motion picture was meticulous scripted and staged. However, everything in the film is based on actual situations that the director Blake Fitzpatrick found himself or those close to him in on film sets over the course of his career. Each of the characters in the film are also satirical pseudonyms for actual people.
